If your sole purpose of enrolling in a course is to get a job, then you've a very long way to go. Focus on the knowledge not the money, master the skill and the skill will fetch you money.

That will depend on you. Graduate as a honour student and you have a chance of landing yourself a job.

You need no basic knowledge to start the course on excel. All process to be done on excel will be explained and if you really keep to what's being taught, you'd be better by the end.


Excel is like maths by the way. Not those hard math oo, just the logical ones.Quite simple if you ask me.

Have an interest in accounting?
Aside the Virtual analyst course, most courses requires you to have a background knowledge. I wish you luck on this Journey.

It's very important, take the course and strive to finish it, if you're opportuned to work in financial institutions like banks etc, you'll have an edge.

PS: I'm enrolled in the course I don't have any background in accounting but I'm doing it and I've gone far, in a week or two I'll take my final exams and claim my certificate.

The test was based on these five aspects
Verbal reasoning
Logical reasoning
Spatial ability
Numerical reasoning
Perceptual speed

Most of them are timed so you have to be fast in answering

Also just know what a financial analyst does,not much just the basics.

Also be prepared the test is long

Yes, I am taking the course because it's a prerequisite to taking the Business Intelligence and Data Analysis course, but I think having all three of Financial, Data and Business Analysis is going to be super charging for ones career.
