uote author=Eddygourdo post=114730774] It is expected, poverty is weaponized, However stupidity is forever in Nigerians. If i was Peter Obi i will withdraw from the race, so that Nigerians can see real Hell in the hands of Tinubu or Atiku. I will only emerge when people start selling their children for food nd even then i will wait some more to see if they will eat them. Since Nigerians Don't want to have sense, they are ready to accept 5k for their votes today and lament for the next 4years. When a politician, pays 2million people 5k, he will have to make that money back in at least his first tenure. Many don't know politicians take loans from banks to run elections. It is only in his second tenure that he will settle the people that put him there and yet after 8years the people again will start hailing them and vote them for senate.[/quote] Peter Obi will not do better than Tinubu or Atiku |

You're wrong mr man. It is your duty to ensure the integrity of any election you conduct. Take for example, it is the duty of the referee in a footbal match to maintain order and decorum in a game he is officiating. INEC should come up with a solution to vote buying. I have been shouting my lungs out on how INEC can reduce vote buying drastically. How?? Vote buying is achieved by inducing voters with monies in exchange for a snap shot of their ballot paper after thumbprinting. Prevent each voter from taking the ballot papers if they're with their phones. Infact, search every voter and make sure no one takes his/her phones into the polling booth. The security agents/INEC officials posted to each polling unit can do this job. A metal detector can be provided for thorough search. |

I have said it elsewhere that I'm against Obi presidency because of this same reason. Nigerians don't have sense therefore they don't deserve him Eddygourdo: |

lol loads of trash you just vomited as logic. Is Pandora better than Jagaban in competence and pedigree? Tens of him are still below Tinubu, considering credible metrics of performance. What a joke! One would think he turned Anambra to Dubai or achieved 1/10 of what Tinubu achieve as a Governor. Anyways, your wailing has just begun lol Eddygourdo: 2 Likes |

It's hunger poverty hardship unemployment inflation that makes people to sell their votes... that is why politcians put people in poverty hunger hardship of the economy so they can use 2000 naira to buy votes from Nigerians in poverty and hunger 1 Like |

It is your duty to make the election an open secret. Don't expose voters to those who try to buy votes. Vote secret |

But it's your duty to annul or withhold an election result when there is evidence of vote buying. Abi vote buying is no longer an electoral offence? 1 Like |

I don't care who has the duty or not. One of agencies in the country should have the responsibility of persecuting anyone giving money for vote. It should be part of election law |
Re: Osun Election: It Is Not Our Duty To Stop Vote Buying, Says INEC Commissioner by KingGBsky(m): 9:58pm On Jul 14, 2022 |
A deep lie from the pit of hell. So there is no law or an affirmation that anyone caught buying votes will be locked up and jailed for about 21years. If there is no enforcement why in earth is it still glaring? Vote buying don’t occur in the secret. It’s done in the open in the presence of the so called electoral officers and police. |
