THREE corps members posted to Kogi State, including a staff of the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC), Kogi State, lost their lives on the Kabba-Okene road on Tuesday.

Their dismembered bodies were picked by policemen and members of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

Nigerian Tribune gathered that the accident involved a truck and an End of Discussion, a brand of Honda products.

An eyewitness account disclosed to the Nigerian Tribune that the three corps members were in the Honda car that was driven by a staff of the NYSC, who was employed recently.

According to the source, all the occupants in the cars including a female, died on the spot when the vehicle they were travelling in tried to overtake two vehicles.

The source further disclosed that the Honda had a head-on collision with an oncoming truck.

Meanwhile, the Public Relations Officer of the NYSC in Kogi State, Mr Felix Ajayi, who confirmed the incident, said the NYSC in the state was in a state of shock over the news.
