Kashim Shettima as a governor appointed Nigerians from all parts of the country in his clos cabinet.

2. Kester Ogualili, SA, inter community relations (Anambra)
3. Usman Majidadi Kumo, SSA, Radio (Gombe)
4. Christopher Godwin Akaba
SSA, Special Duties (Delta)
5. Ahmed Ishaq Ningi SSA, New Media (Bauchi)
6. Lanre Obadiah, SA, Social Investment (Kwara)
7. Victor Izekor, SA, Social investment (Abia)
8. Jack Vicent, SSA, Social investment ((Benue)

Fact: Governor shettima didn't appoint most of the names stated there as S.A. Our check shows that no reputable! Media reported the news. This news were all carried by blogs and gossip news sites from Facebook, Twitter etc which was not based in reality.

On going through shettima's Cabinet and SSA's when he was Governor, it was found that he appointed mostly his kins mem from his state Borno as can be see from the screen shots below

Far from what was copied about, it was Shettima successor Gov Babangida Zulum who appointed Kester Ogulili from Anambra and rightly it made news..
Prof Zulum also appointed a Yoruba in his cabinet in the person of Alhaji Yusuf Alao from Oyo state.

which is not a main sector in governance. Its is an unwise thing to do..This implies that the governor made no such appointment.

Further more, the names of the said Appointed S.A from states like Abia, Kwara and Benue are not names which those from such aforementioned states usually bear..
On futher search for those people, the returns were nill showing that they might be phoney names cobbled together for propaganda purposes.

If is also laughable how a governor will have a commissioner for information, Have a Special adviser on media and Strategy and then also appoint another special adviser for Radio..

One wonders whether Radio is not part of the portfolio of Information and media..Even the search results for the S.A on Radio wasn't found.

Add to it that Shettima during his 8 years as governor never appeared on Radio to talk about his policy and government accomplishments which is a form of Grassroot engagement

Conclusion: while Governor Shettima might appoint Nigerians from other state in his cabinet, however most of those names been bandied about weren't appointed by him.

While it is important to support our candidates, it is good if we dont do so with propaganda
