BIZNess123:For your information, the wife is just a mere “pastor “. Someone upgraded from a Deaconess to a Pastor. She’s not in-charge of any branch or parish. So, don’t expect any vote from us at RCCG. 1 Like |

Chai see levels! Now their next 4years is not clear because of this acculturated corrupt practice among the people and between the candidates and electorates. I strongly believe that it will be extremely hard to get a credible and corrupt free candidate to govern a state or preside over a country! EDUCATION!! The people need to be reorientated on the consequences of vote selling and the inability to vote for a candidate based on records, capacity, credibility, INTEGRITY and manifestos. POVERTY!! A big factor misleading people by controlling the subconscious of an average Nigerian. WHY ALL THESE PROBLEMS? CORRUPTION!! YES, CORRUPTION!! Corruption has become part of a culture of Nigerian people in all institutions of this country. It has engulfed FAMILY institution, EDUCATIONAL, ECONOMY, RELIGIOUS HEALTH, but simply pioneered by POLITICAL institution over the years, actually since INDEPENDENCE!! God bless Nigeria! |

Igbos have a horse in Osun race. Ademola Adeleke is every bit an igbo as he's Yoruba. Mother igbo and father Yoruba and that's why igbos are interested in what goes on there. Osun just elected a half igbo governor if he wins. Osun is another state Igbos now have influence and will get what they want, their son is governor. And yes Yoruba did it! Okoroawusa: What are you talking about? Igbos are most liberal, nothing like herd mentality in Igbo land. People vote whoever they wanted without any fear/retribution from their kinsmen in Igbo land. Okorocha was voted in against an incumbent (PDP). He performed well in 1st tenure hence his re-election was soft landing.. but during his 2nd tenure, he preferred Abuja romance over service to the masses and this made him lost being in tune with the masses, his case was settled at the polling unit. Igbos na cheerleaders in this type of voting. We look at your personality and vote and not party affiliations. 2 Likes |

okorogodwin4: But how can a President govern in isolation, with practically all the governors as opposition. How can he preside over a country, with all the Senators and Representatives as opposition, don't you think he will be impeached in a heartbeat in trying to foist his ultra conservative vision. I do sincerely believe Obi to be the best candidate for President, long before now and even before his candidacy with Atiku in 2015 because we share the same vision for this country and his actions in fiscal conservatism practiced in Anambra is the only model that can turn around the economy of Nigeria. But I have one big reservation: I believe the Nigeria is best served by political duopoly and no more, two contending parties at every election and candidates working their visions from within rather than breakouts every time a differing ideology is sought. The ability to drag others into one's vision is a shorter route to the overall development of this country. So I praise the Obi candidacy for the awareness and hope it has brought to Nigerians, it is truly a breathe of fresh air but as a practical instrument of change in Nigeria via governance, it is just not workable. He simply cannot govern in isolation and will have to form bitter tasting alliances his die-hard fanatics may not be able to swallow should he be willed to succeed. |
