If the school is a primary school then it is the local government but if a secondary school, it is the state government.

That is how public schools are run in Nigerian law.

Hmmm..... the report.said the children were sitting on the floor.... I thought that was bad.... but on seeing the photo ... they were sitting on the ground. Somebody need to say where furniture... desks and benches ... were stashed... and more importantly... why. Was someone trying to sell them to private schools? If the Governor saw the school....he should be ashamed to send new furniture to that pen.

Well kudos to social media for bringing this to light, it was an emrgence that need urgent attention...

Like what the hell is happening in this country . So they had the money to provide amenities and make life comfortable for the students to learn but they chose to keep to themselves until alarm was blown. What kind of wickedness and evil is this. These guys are callous!

Ogun state suppose to be the richest state in NIGERIA with so many industries....

In a normal working system, it shouldn't concern the Governor but the principal of the school, chairman TESCOM and commissioner for education but the Governors had reduced Nigeria to minus zero and killed democracy by killing Local government, killing civil service and made themselves lords of jungle by being in charge of everything even judiciary and legislative arms as their private enterprise at the detriment of tenets of democracy and the people.

Both ,but the State govt share the greatest blame,this is window dressing. Nearly ALL the state govt behave the same way neglecting especially schools in the rural communities, the systematic development of educational and health sector have been going down from 2015. Osun election 2022 have throw spanner to there wheel
