A delegation of APC defectors has been received by the People's Democratic Party's (PDP) governorship candidate in Lagos State, Dr. Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor (APC). According to Vanguard, the decampees came from the state's 20 Local Government Areas in advance of the 2023 governorship election.

The 27-person Imo State Interim Management Committee Chairmen were dismissed on Thursday by Governor Hope Uzodinma after almost 27 months in service.

Following a private meeting with them at the Sam Mbakwe Executive Chambers at Government House Owerri on Thursday, Uzodinma informed them of this.

The governor praised them for their commitment and the services they had provided in their various local governments since being appointed roughly 2.5 years prior.
