The South, especially the South East are babies in the game of politics. People like Umahi and Akpabio that they suppose to you style support as back up plan. You don't put your eggs in one basket or cut your nose to spite your face.
It is people like Umahi and Akpabio that should straightforward vie for Senate presidency IF APC wins the presidential election. But of course, when there's no big APC name from the South, the presidency will either go North or at worst South West. Then SE will cry blood and neglect and Biafra yet again.

Tambowa seems to have escaped this trap by stepping down and not being on ballot for PDP presidential primary. Those who stepped down can argue that they didn't participate in two different primaries since they were not voted for in one of the primaries.

It's different, APC in Akwa Ibom has two factions which produced two Senatorial Candidates.

Chief Ekperikpe Ekpo emerged as Senatorial Candidate from Steve NtukEkpo led faction Loyal to Senator Akpabio which Mike Igini insisted that he(INEC) did not monitor the primary exercise conducted by them, infact according to the faction, the primary was postponed due to irregularities, Barr. Mike Igini instead recognizes &monitored the Senatorial primary conducted by Austin Ekanem led faction Loyal to Senator Udoedeghe which produced DIG Ekpo Udom as Senatorial Candidate.

Barr. Mike Igini's issues with AKS APC is from the State Congress he monitored, which Austin Ekanem Loyal to Senator Udoedeghe won the said Congress, but Steve Leo NtukEkpo later emerged as the State party chairman in a fraudulent way, where he had allegedly forged the results of the state Congress to obtained Court order so that the APC NWC recognizes him as the authentic State chairman which happens to be Senator Akpabio's faction.

There will be no law broken if there was cooperation in house, both in APC and in Ebonyi as a whole. The APC claimed that they did another primary in which Umahi is said to have won. The lady was told not to cooperate with that that she's the one to run, lol. It's like the place holder thing. If for instance the place holder guys refused to resign and insist in court that it is their turn to be vice presidential candidate.
This woman is not likely to win the senatorial election, and even if she wins, is not likely to have any influence in the Senate. This is someone that lost to "place holder" already oh.
