I'll borrow from Aime Cesaire's great quotes. If the Super Falcons still 'want a place at the rendezvous of victory' , then they need 'the invention of new souls' The team seem to be in a state of statism. They are stale. Other African teams have studied them, and found them out.

When Croatia disgraced the Berti Vogts German team at France 98 3:0, Germany did something surgical about its national team- brought in a new handler and naturalized some technicians like Mezut Ozil, Khedira, Boateng etc. It was most unGerman to do that. After some patience, results started coming. They got to the semi finals of both the 2006 and 2010 World Cups. By 2014, that team had attained maturation. And with ruthless aggression, mauled Brazil on the way to lifting it.

France too had to reinvent itself before it could win the World Cup in 1998. Racist Brazil never won the World Cup until it reinvented itself by absorbing Pele, Garincha and other technically gifted blacks. With Pele in the team, they appeared in four World Cups and won it thrice. They won it for the first time in '58. Won it again in '62. Pele got injured in '66. England won it. The Super Falcons should stop living in the past, on lost glory, thinking they can just waltz into any WAFCON, with teams lying prostate and lift the cup.

The dominance we have in women football was because the other African nations were not doing much to develop the female football in their countries, but now due to success and dominance we've achieved by winning it 9 times, they are all awaken and it will no longer be a smooth ride for the Falcons.

The current falcons team is the worst we have presented in the history of this competition.

NFF is not helping matters by signing inexperience coach that has no good track record using our team to boost their CV. They also forced the coaches to feature players that obviously not doing well, e g. Onumonu. Some of the ageing players must give way for the new player to come in.

Our players are good but unnecessary red cards make us loose both male and female....my opinion

The coach is terrible, no good record about him, its better to sack the coach, that no 9 should be kicked out of the team, am sure we have far better finishers than her. Next is to drop aged players, play in new ones, then sanity will return to the team....

Firstly, the team is ageing and we need fresh and younger legs. Secondly, the Nigerian Women League is not functioning at optimal level, so the earlier we develop the women league more, the better for us. Thirdly, bad and poor NFF management and Federal Ministry of Sport's meddlesomeness in the affairs of football in Nigeria
