I said it here that the Fulani Emirs and the Sultan who have been backing these bandits in places like Nassarawa , Plateau, Benue, Kaduna, Taraba and Adamawa in a bid to expand the Caliphate into the so-called Pagan provinces and from there resettle Fulanis displaced in places like CAR, Mali and Burkina Faso are now in a quagmire as their feral dogs indiscriminately attacked the only and biggest allies the Fulani have in Nigeria .

To end this madness is a no brainer.

Counterinsurgency using the Hausa and other nationals facing the brunt of the Fulani menace will see these vermin run back to whatever corner of hell they crept out from .

I remember quite well how the Jukum tribal militia going by the name Mambilla Militia dealt a very severe blow to the Fulanis in parts of Benue , Taraba and southern Adamawa sometime in 2017 only for the Sultan to go screaming in Abuja that there was an ongoing genocide targeting Fulanis in Taraba and Adamawa. The then CDS who reports directly to the President was ordered to take out the militia. A combination of ground and air detachments from the Army and Air force was sent to bomb and massacre entire swaths of communities in the mambilla. I remember how the then Yoruba CDS led a military delegation to the Fulani head in Taraba to both offer his condolences and brief him on the actions taken by the joint military operation to flush out the militia killing the Fulani. It was not long after this that TY Danjuma came out with his viral command to his people and all Nigerians to defend themselves or be killed by the fulanis and the Nigerian army .

Any one who succeeds Buhari can easily defeat these Fulani terrorists whom the APC through figures like El Rufai , Massari and Kwankwasso imported into Nigeria to force a regime change if Buhari had lost the 2015 elections.

If whoever succeeds Buhari still has these Fulani terrorists roaming free and causing havoc know that they are not merely incompetent but part of the grand Fulani population displacement and replacement agenda.

Note that the very survival of the Fulani Caliphate hangs in the balance once the Hausa are able to defeat these Fulani terrorists and so that is why the very same Fulani caliphate which has imposed itself on the Hausa indigenes in all areas of their lives since Uthnan don Fodio succeeded in establishing his Fulani caliphate , will do everything in their powers to put down an Hausa offensive on the Fulani terrorists.

Technically, the term Hausa-Fulani is a hybrid produced by the continued and sustained intermarriage between the two tribes such that the blend had cost the separate breeds their filial identities.

Historically however, the Hausas are the original Nigerians who co-own the large swathe of what is today's North west along with the federating tribes of the Gwaris.

The advent of Uthman Fodio (a fulbe warrior and religious teacher from Futa Toro in present day Senegal ) who migrated to and lived in Degel in present day Sokoto state, saw him wage a jihad (not the contemporary mad violence as we know it today) - a sort of missionary work that sought to dominate and establish emirates across the Upper Niger regions of Nigeria that would be answerable to the caliphate (the Sokoto sultanate). It is the result of this successful jihad that entrenched the Fulani (fulbe) naturalization in Nigeria. - Note that the fulbe is distinct from fulfude.

The Fulbe tribe migrated from Futa d'Jalon in present day Guinea and adjoining environs, while the fulfude are descendants of Kanem Bornu.

So, the infiltration of the fulbe into the ranks of Hausawa was occasioned by the undue hospitality and acceptance of strangers, which would eventually lead to her being conquered by the same immigrants on one hand, and the quest to seek war mercenaries from these strangers to invade and spoil neighbouring communities turning around to be her bane on the other hand.

I know the first reaction is outrage about the statement, but let's all look beyond the surface and try to understand what is going on.

Fulani are much more migratory than most other ethnic groups. For centuries, their way of life has been nomadic, going about the entire Sahel region. Just like other ethnic groups, they established empires to protect their own interests, often to the detriment of others. Before you get upset, do you think the Empires of Kano, Oyo, or Benin got so big by being nice to the people in the lands they conquered?

Nomadic populations don't view land as something to be owned by individuals; sedentary/farming populations on the other hand, don't appreciate the concept of "my land is your land". I can't say either approach is wrong or right, but that they are different, equally valid, and we all need to see things from the others' perspective.

Fulani access to land and resources are being threatened by:
- increased desertification
- insensitivity/inability of our leadership to think holistically and long term
- increased populations of Nigerians, buying what used to be grazing land and pathways
- an unwillingness to "modernize", an area where Fulani leadership has failed their people.

These conditions lead - as they have in other parts of Nigeria - to desperation, disconnection from the country, banditry, and susceptibility to religious dogma. If we continue to misunderstand the reasons for what is happening, we will not be able to treat it.

I hope readers of this post will really try to reflect on what I've written, and not just post knee jerk reactions, because frankly, the menace is being practiced by all Nigerians, regardless of ethnicity.
