2023: Fashola Backs Muslim-Muslim Ticket, Says Tinubu Remains Best Candidate For President

Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, has backed Bola Tinubu to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

The minister endorsed Tinubu’s presidential bid when he featured on ‘Sunday Politics’, a Channels Television programme.

The former governor of Lagos state argued that Tinubu remains the best candidate in the presidential race — which also includes Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).

He said: “How do we move ourselves to the prosperity that is imminent that this country would have because I know it would happen. Who is the best person to drive that vehicle?

“In my own opinion Asiwaju is the best person to drive that vehicle”.
