In 2022, omah lay teamed up with America popstar, Justin Bieber, to release “Attention”.

On the 14 December 2020, omah olay was arrested alongside music sensation, Tems , for violating COVID-19 lockdown protocols in Uganda after performing at a show, which causes a row in the Nigeria twitter space, and demanded for their release. The artistes felt they were set up. Two days later, the Ugandan government released them, apologized, and cleared them for wrongdoing.

In July 2022, after he released his first studio album “Boy Alone” , Omah lay confessed he was depressed and his depression worsened after he slept with his therapist.
