Some of the numbers presented by the Hon Minister of Finance at the Medium Term Expenditure Framework and the Fiscal Strategy Paper (MTEF-FSP).

Numbers are at Apr 30, 2022.

1. N1.63 trn - FG revenue
2. N1.94 trn - Debt service
3. N1.26 trn - Personnel cost
4. N0.78 trn - Capital Expenditure
5. N4.72 trn - Total Expenditure

So as at Apr 30, 2022 the FG had spent N4.72 trn but earned only N1.63 trillion!
I leave you to make your deductions.
