Ohk. Good idea. Request for your gcms notes

Did you apply before the increment of rate? If yes, then your pof was definitely not enough. Also what supporting docs did you submit. Were you the sponsor. Can I see your sop that you submitted??

Yes, I applied some days before the rates changed. I can send you my sop and documents if you provide me an email address.

So sorry rry to hear this. I felt that way too when i was told my chest xray wasnt clear. Its just a suspicion, doesnt mean you have TB. If your wife is the main applicant, i doubt it will slow down her application. I went through the sputum test too, and my results came out negative after 3 months. In my case the doctor said i probably had Pneumonia or a major infection as a kid that left a scar on my lungs. The test is just to rule e out the possibility of TB. Thats all

Please can you drop your details so I can reach out to you
Iā€™m confused in the first name and surname space for application in bow valley college
I thought first name and surname are the same

First name is your name.. Like say your common name.
Surname is your family name. That name you attach to your own personal name that is equally used by your sibling(s) . Thank you.

Please see the procedure for GIC below. You should ensure that the USD in your account was made via transfer and not cash deposit. If the USD in your account was sent deposited via cash deposit, it cannot be transferred. Also note that you can only make a deposit into the GIC account just once.

The total bank charges on the 20CAD GIC was about N55,000.

Procedure to open GIC in Canada

First you go to there website https://pay.cibc.com/ISBO/payment/#/ and create a profile.
1. You are applying for student GIC program

2. Minimum amount is $10000, you can do upto $20000 but bear in mind that this money will only be available on tranches for a period of 8 months or so.

3. Select resident country

4. Do not check the I'd like to pay in canadian dollars box

5.. you will see an amount in USD click on it and continue, that amount will be held for 20 minutes while u fill the form

6. After filling the form you will be contacted by the bank in 1-2 business days with an account number to pay into

7.. proceed to the bank and make the payment from a USD account

NOTE: payment can be only made once before you arrive to Canada. And PAYMENT MUST BE MADE FROM THE SAME NAME ACCOUNT OTHERWISE THEY WILL RETURN YOUR MONEY

Pls what do you mean by same name account, my dad plan to get GIC for me. Pls kindly explain further šŸ™

Visa might be denied reason been that ā€œ you have a blood tie over there and they will feel like you wonā€™t come back again to Nigeria ā€œ better still your brother should fund your account .

First use the link below and compress the originally merged docs.
https://www.ilovepdf.com/compress_pdf

OR

https://avepdf.com/hyper-compress-pdf

This should reduce to say 9mb.
Then use the one below and compress to your size choice depending on the setting you use. Keep altering it till you get your desired size and quality.

No, there are no issues. He can be your sponsor and you can add his statement of account and other supporting docs.

Just make sure you have strong home and economic ties greater than the Canada ties.

Well well, I kind of disagree here. If his Visa is denied, it's certainly cos his home and economic ties were weak and not necessarily because of his Canada ties.

He needs to make his home and economic ties stronger than his Canada ties. Many ppl here have had their siblings in Canada be their sponsors. His brother funding his account doesn't change anything. Doesn't change the fact he still has Canada ties. The most important thing is making sure he uses his SOP to project himself to have so much economical and home ties that he will definitely leave Canada after study.

Please house I need your advise. So Iā€™ve been working as an HR officer in Nigeria and also a freelancer for a known tech company in the US. I earn over 4kusd monthly and Iā€™ve been saving my remote earnings in Payoneer due to the rate at which the naira is depreciating. Iā€™ve paid my full year tuition (itā€™s a 1 year program) and Iā€™ve saved over 30k usd.

I am trying to move my funds to my naira account for proof of funds. The thing is if I move my COL and miscellaneous from Payoneer to my naira account as a lump sum and I explain with proof will it be a problem since my naira account doesnā€™t have much inflows due to my usd savings in Payoneer?

Also moving my converting my funds from Payoneer to Naira directly will make me lose some value due to the rate of Payoneer currently is about 769 naira to a dollar.

I donā€™t know if I can move it from Payoneer to another account (Geegpay) cos the rate is about 801 naira to a dollar? If I do, Geegpay limits payments to 1 million naira a day. If I move 1m every day for say 15 days and I explain to the VO can this fly?

I donā€™t know which option to go for.

Please I would appreciate your advise. Please help a sister.

Apologies for my long post.

Thank you.

Since you have paid your tuition. Why not do GIC and explain source of your funds in your sop. With this, your tuition and living expenses taken care of. Your challenge will be how you will put out your economic and home ties to be strong and convincing that you will return to Nigeria after your study

I have a visit visa to Canada already, issued this month. My brother invited me and presented his statement, international passport and employment letter for that purpose and visa was granted. But now he advised me to apply for school so I can put in for study permit to be able to remain in Canada. Initially, in my visit visa application I put that I will only be staying only 4weeks. Now that I am trying to switch from visit visa to study permit, I am worried if that will be an issue.
