So you can't be patient till then?
I applied for a visa 3 days ago and my program is for January. If I don't meet up now, I have to defer to September. I rather defer than get a denial or start the process again.
Before you know it, 2023 will be here. Dude be patient.

The school cannot defer till fall next year due to the course (I was supposed to start this September before),
The course is only taken in the fall and the school cannot defer over two semesters that was the reason I requested a refund before the course registration closed. I am planning to apply for next fall and I'm asking if it won't have any effect on my visa when it is approved.

@bepositive11 what if someone did overstay, not caught nor deported but returned willingly.
What are your thoughts?
Depending on the country if the person left the country by air they will find the overstayer from exit checks..
From the departure flights, the airline used to depart the country will transmit passenger information to the immigration agency..the person will be subjected to re-entry ban even if the person left the country voluntarily.if entry ban elapsed the concerned government embassy will continue to refuse future visa application based on previous overstay, the person will require very strong tie to country of origin and satisfactory intent to be successful in any future application after ban elapsed.

Re-apply for any intake you prefer ASAP to same school not another. Go for your medicals as advised then forward your new LOA to IRCC via webform and emails.

Good luck

Who is going to ontario tech university canada

And also whats the best app i can use in paying for tuition deposit

Yes people do.
Ensure you explain the source of the funding and how you plan to pay back on your SOP.
It's not just about getting the loan, how you plan to repay is very key in convincing the VO.

Good luck

However, since you already have a PMP, it may be asked why are you doing a certificate.

Oh wow, probably I omit it from my resume and application

PROOF OF FUNDS PRACTICAL

APPLICANT: 1 yr tuition fee OR full fees for the entire length of study

+ 1yr living expenses 10k CAD

+ miscellaneous 5k CAD = ...........

1st dependant (if any) + 4k CAD

Additional dependants + 3k CAD

Spousal open work permit/Visitor visa for spouse + 5-10k CAD

1. Bank statement 4-6 months with a closing balance covering the above. Explain any lump sum with documented evidence.

2. Proof of how subsequent years or additional months will be paid if you show one year fees e.g business registration/employment documents/ letters, documents showing assets and other means (if any) showing how established you are or your sponsor.

3. If you are fully/partially funded or have a loan approval for tuition, deduct the money given to you from the above (this is on a case by case basis). Submit evidence of this funding/loan too. FOR APPLICANTS ONLY

4. Any semester(s) fee paid OR full payment made for the year can be deducted from the POF and remaining balance should still cover for at least a year using the example above. Ensure you submit evidence of payment or initiation of payment to IRCC. FOR APPLICANT ONLY.

5. For gift deed, (if applicable) it is recommended a letter ( notarized) should be attached alongside and bank statement/ proof of identity of the person too though optional.

6. The above applies to third party sponsors and supporting documents to show proof of sponsorship/relationship to them already in the pinned message here. Tips: Financial commitment of sending a good sum to applicant bank account goes a long way. For 8 months to 1yr program pay up to second semester fees to show commitment and increase your visa approval chance.

I hope this helps someone. Remember this is just a general guide, the more money the better.

Let's say NO to IRCC refusals based on personal assets and financial status.

Yes!!! Depending on the reason and how strong your response is.
But I am surperised that having a ban from UK, you are still able to attempt Canada. There is a general impression that its alsmost impossible to scale through with a success once you have an active ban in any of those 5 eyes Countries. That being said, there is nothing that God cannot do. Trust me.
Someone had an active ban of 10 years in UK but decided to reapply after 5 years and got approved.
My inlaw got 5 year ban to Ireland, applied the following month to the same Country and got approval.
You have done the needful, just go to God; your worries will soon be a testimony

Please, is it still possible for visa application to be approved after receiving a “Procedural Fairness” letter?

Has anyone on here gotten a “Procedural Fairness” letter and his/her application was still approved?

Though I have responded to it accordingly but I’m really concerned.

Please advise!

Diploma programs do not consider your GPA as much a masters or PHD program would.
Get on their IG page to check for their application waiver fees and apply free of charge for your choice of course.

Good luck

For those asking about MFB.. I think I have read part of this thread someone submitted mfb statement. Provided the mfb is legit and licensed to operate there shouldn’t be a problem. Infact on visa.mybankstatement website there is VFB microfinance on d website as part of participating bank that uses d mbs portal to share statement with embassies . If the mfb statement u are submitting is legit and d bank is licensed there shdnt be a problem . If it’s not an mbs portal kind of statement den What d embassy wud do is to contact the bank and confirm d statement .

But truth be told , a lot of ppl r using mfb statement as ruins now . I have read a thread on twitter that talks bout an agent wey dey give POF at very cheap rate and na mfb staff. It’s cheaper than d usual 3.5% most ppl are charging because d guy’s own isn’t legit money , he wud only provide fake statement and d manager in their mfb wud confirm it as real anytime embassy contacts dem. With this kind of tin going round now, d embassy cud hv seen alot of cases whereby fake statements hv bin submitted and they were mostly mfb statement. So for any1 submitting or submitted mfb statement shd ensure it’s legit and d bank will be ready to confirm to embassy d legitimacy of d statement.
Peace!!!

What are your thoughts?

Deportation is taken more seriously than leaving willingly. But whether you declare that you overstay or not, Canada can still find out about it because visas have expiry dates and the date you leave the country is recorded. So it's better to explain your overstay before them possibly finding out, and it's easier to get away with leaving willingly than being deported. Overstay is still a red flag though.

Hi bepositive. Thanks for the head up. I had a failed asylum request and was given a specific date to leave which I wasn’t buoyant enough to fly out the country, but after 5 to six months I made some money and left voluntarily.

Your Canadian student visa application will be challenging, as you probably already know. That asylum request is a big red flag but I wonder if Japan shares that information with other countries. You also worked illegally.

Are you in a good financial shape to apply for a Canadian student visa? because it's very expensive and complicated. They check so many things - your employment history, financial stability, academic records, etc. It's not easy. If you can't afford, please don't turn to desperate measures like fake bank statements that will make IRCC give you a 5 year ban.

That said, if you're now in a good position to apply, you will definitely need to consult an immigration lawyer. I haven’t had to work with an immigration lawyer before so I can't give you a recommendation.

Try searching on Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Make sure to do your homework. Go through their reviews, check the profiles of their past clients to see if they're really in Canada, check their qualifications, etc.

Good luck.

You can reapply as long as it’s the same school. Send your new LOA to IRCC. It won’t affect your visa.
