Oh, this must be new then, my apologies! Makes no sense, just like you've said. But is this only applicable if your permit was refused the first time? Cheebu: |

YinksXO:What if you have the Visa stamp already before renewing the passport prior to your travel? Will the Visa still be valid |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Cheebu: 5:55am On Nov 09, 2022 |
YinksXO: According to the male attendant, it's only applicable if your permit was refused the first time. But the information the lady attendant gave was quite different. She said you only get to pay if you don't have the yellow strip & if your biometrics wasn't done in the same year you got your PPR. It was just chaos! |

Yes, visa will still be valid. Note: check the validity date on the visa o, the visa is valid until that date. Ojb555666: |

kvngosas: You don’t really have a problem, you’ll renew your passport in Canada when it expires. Good luck. Heading to Durham too, can we link up? 1 Like |

YinksXO: I agree with you. I didn’t get approved the first time, I got it the second time and I didn’t pay a dime. Though I sent it to where I did my biometrics. These people dey use us cash out big time. It’s well, PPR is the goal. 2 Likes |

Are you sure you are in this same Nigeria? Hmmmm, things are happening o. quote author=jaydave post=118237374]According to NIS they won’t attend to renewal only if it’s 6months to expiration , I don’t know if the policy has changed now . I doubt if they would renew ur 8months to expiration pp, but if they do, u have to let ircc knw bout ur updated pp via webform so by the time ur application gets approved you can able to submit the new passport for stamping instead of d old one [/quote] |

Good morning my people. I have $250 in my fidelity bank Dom account and I decided to take advantage of the recent hike in dollar price to withdraw and sell it to aboki. But I've been to the only two fidelity bank branches in my state and they both are claiming they don't have dollar in cash to give me. So I want to know if there is a way I can sell it online at current black market rate. Pls note that the dollar card linked to the account has expired and I've not renewed it. Thanks |

Karishma: She can leave her money in her account in foreign currency. Let her provide her pay slip, statements of account, letter of sponsorships, maybe some utility bills, your pictures together and other family pictures together with her to proof shes really your blood sis and ready to sponsor you. Also she can send the money to you own account so show that it will be available to you. Then send proof that she sent it and you explain the lump sum. If you have account too, you can start building it There is no point sending it to her naira account instead she can send to you. This is my opinion 2 Likes |

Hi Everyone, am planning to move to Canada next year through study route but am a 27 years old fresh graduate currently doing my NYSC in Abuja which is suppose to end next year year February. My major sponsor is my elder brother because I don't have a job of my own and money to sponsor myself. My question is that do I stand a chance of getting visa judging by my age and the the person that is sponsoring me? |
