Hello AOROGBEM

Did you contact all the MPs in your province, at least 1 of them will reply. Also, hope you were not rude in the content of your mails to the MPs, cos they are not in any way responsible in the delay of your application, and also they are not even supposed to attend to you since you are not yet in Canada or a resident of their province , its only the "So nice" MPs that reply to applicants outside of Canada, since you will be a prospective resident of their province.

So in your next mails to all the MPs in your proposed province, make sure youa re extra nice and friendly in your write-up.

Also keep bombarding IRCC with mails until you get an update, your application is almost a year, so you have every right to do so..

Peace

Hello sir
Please I submitted my application while in Nigeria but currently in uk, Will getting my medical done here in uk affect my application decision
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Juliusmar10: 7:06pm On Aug 10, 2022
you submitted your application in May and got a medical request in June? I submitted mine in April and I am still awaiting a review. Did you use the old
Or the new portal? Because I used the new.

MsLoolah:
Timeline:
I sublimed our application on the 1st of May. During that time, we just continued life like normal, we were prepared for the worst which was a rejection and not the end of the world. On the 13th of June, I got a medical request, I noted I had already submitted that but turns out I couldn’t use the old one since it would expire before I planned to leave the country. So I booked another appointment, I got 14th of July, which was a day over the 30 days. We got no information on my husband, and I won’t lie I was scared.
14th of July I did my medicals with IOM Lagos, it was a long ass day and a hassle honestly, the first time I did it, I used Qlife which was 100% better and faster. My medicals was updated and passed on the 28th of July, and I got a ppr for myself on August 3rd and my husband got his today I am over the moon right now, I just had to share this for those that need the push.

Documents included
- 2 separate LOE (I listed the travel itinerary in my husband’s letter, he planned to stay 10 days, so I included step by step what we planned to do during those 10 days)
- My Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree
- Admission letter + first semester deposit (used tradesystems to pay, that one too took forever)
- Marriage certificate
- Pictures of us from when we started dating in 2012 vs 2022 including wedding day with people in the background
- Affidavit of support and business incorporation from sponsor
- Sponsor’s bank statement personal and business total 28m
- My business bank statement 1m balance (turnover of 80m for 6 months)
- My husband’s personal 5m and Business bank statement 10m with business turnover of 115m for 6 months
- Travel history for my husband and stamp pages (France, turkey and Dubai)
- Medicals for both of us (but I had to do another)
- Business incorporation for the both of us
- Pictures of our business Instagram pages
- Pictures of us outside Nigeria
- Birth certificate to prove relationship with sponsor
- IELTS result (don’t think it was necessary but couldn’t leave anything to chance)

Good Day House, please, if the principal applicant is already in Canada and have enrolled for courses for a year. Does the spouse need to submit proof of fund too for the principal applicant or just for the spouse and the kids?

The spouse needs to show enough proof of fund(living expenses) for the duration of stay that is not the same for the spouse already studying in Canada. In summary, they need to show enough fund to cover main applicant tuition, living expenses and accompanying spouse living expenses for the duration of stay.

Yesso I did, it’s only God. I originally applied in March 2021 last year for a 4 years bachelors degree and got approved in August 2021. I went to Canada in December 2021 and decided to change my course and school, so the best option was to return back home to reapply.

Also I wanted to include my husband in my second application, so I just closed my eyes and left it to God.

And to God be the glory because I got approved again and so did my husband.

Kelabea:
Wait are u saying… u got 2 study visa approval for urself in a span of 1 year?

Why did u apply again? (Answer this one first please )

Good afternoon wonderful people.
I hope to start my visa application in dec or Jan 2023. I have about N5.6m in my personal savings account . Is it ok if I place N5m in a fixed deposit account for 6 months and use that as part of POF or should I leave it in the savings account and present the bank statement . Thank you

Hello kichi,

You may need to be specific. Living expenses (for 1year) alone will engulf around 3.2m and you're left with only 2.4m of which can only be possible you're to to 1 year PGD course at memorial university. Outside that and for a 2 year course, that will not be enough.

Then as per fixing it, I advise you leave it in your account. IRCC believes in the availability and accessibility of the fund. There is always that notion that money fixed isn't applicants money unless you present enough convincing documents for it and why it was fixed in the place

Hello Everyone!

Thanks for all you do here.

I am traveling to Saskatoon this August and my flight will be stopping at Montreal. I am trying to book another flight from Montreal to Saskatoon.

Please, I would appreciate how I can go about tje booking with my 23kg X 2 baggage inclusive.
Flight date from Montreal is 23rd August.

Please, anyone here presently in Saskatoon.
I am still searching for accommodation and AirBnB seems expensive presently. Any advise.

Thank you.

Hello,

For flights like air Canada and WestJet, the only allow 1 23kg plus hand luggage. Any additional will be paid for.

As for accomodation, you may need to use Facebook marketplace. It really helps. It helped me sure 2bedroom apartment for just 1k. So go there, many listing are there. All you do is if you get, someone present might help you to check it out, then you pay and sign the lease agreement.

My application was submitted on April 6th and I just received my BVL and PPR today. I will be dropping my timeline and documents submitted before the week runs out.

I have a question which I would appreciate the forum’s response to. I already commenced admission deferral procedures to Fall 2023. Now that IRCC has approved my visa application, do I need to inform IRCC of my deferral?

Congratulations! I submitted mine April 13th, MY CONGRATULATIONS IS NEXT!
