Wow!!!!! A big congratulations to you on the successful outcome of your application.
And many thanks for this information. God bless you real good.
If i may ask please, did you have issues with your medical cos i see you got a medical request,
or what caused this delay?

Timonline:
Good Morning everyone and a Blissful Happy new year. This post will be long but I need you to help me pay attention. I am putting this information for people who are experiencing delays with their application and who've tried to communicate via email without having any progress. An acquaintance of mine showed me how to call ircc call center agents in Ottawa from Nigeria here using Viber app. Download the Viber app from Google or apple appstore and register with your number.
Before following the steps to make a call to ircc in Ottawa send a mail to these addresses individually;
abuja@international.gc.ca

Abuja-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca

abujag@international.gc.ca

In the email input your name uci and application number. Explain your current situation in the situation. When they get the mail a prompt will be placed on your application for the visa officer to look at it.
These are the steps;
Step 1:
Call this number with the Viber app: +1-800-267-6788, it's ircc client call center number.
Step 2:
Press 1 to use the service in English.
Step 3:
Press 2 to connect to ircc
Step 4: after connection to ircc, you would listen to a message for about 30 seconds just be patient till they tell you the buttons to press. You'll be asked to input your uci number if you have, just to save time press 2 that you do not have a uci. Although when you connect to the client call center agent he/she will ask you to provide your application details which includes application number, uci number and other relevant information.
Point to note: if you're calling in for someone you'll have to fill in the ircc imm5455 consent form.

Step 5:
after step 4, you'll listen another message again like step 4 be patient till they tell you which numbers to press. press 3
Step 6:
after that the next number you'll press is 1 to talk to make enquiry about your study permit application or press 2 to make an enquiry about your PR application.
Step 7: the final number to press is 0 to speak to an agent.
Point note : the client support center opens by 1pm. Nigerian time. So it's best to start calling them by 12:45pm so you can be in the queue and wouldn't have to wait too long. I tried this process and it worked for me after Months of sending mails and webforms. Even getting a gcms note now is daunting task because ATIP In Canada is finding it hard to give people their gcms notes, I feel they are understaffed and overwhelmed. When you get connected to the Call ask for an enquiry, they will give you details on the current stage of your application but don't ask when they'll make a decision on your application, they don't have any information about that and they wouldn't even tell you honestly. There it is guys I know this post is very long but please bare with me when this method worked for me I had to come here to spread the information, I hope you get your ppr sooner. Let me put a screenshot of my application to show you the how I got for my ppr, I hope it inspires you as well.

As much as I can’t say if this is a reason, my friend and I who were both August applicants sent emails until they warned us to stop sending. 3 weeks later after they warned my friend, and 2 weeks after they warned me, our PPR came on the same day, December 29th.

Keep sending emails and webforms and back it up with serious prayers.
Am in Canada already.
Am just telling him to keep hope alive.

[quote author=Jojocrawch post=119764078]Happy new year everyone and congratulations in advance for everyone waiting for their PPR.

There’s an ongoing argument that it is very difficult to get a Canadian study visa approval if you’re over the age of 35yrs, you do not have a university degree (which means you’re not going for a masters program), you have a huge study gap.

I have have seen 40 years old with WAEC going for diploma in this group and was approved. Search for it and read about it, it's in the previous thread. Am leaving the rest to the gurus

i have checked all the schools, few stated 2.1 in your last 4 semesters in the school.

i just have to try, probably i will get.

also I'm considering doing a post graduate, but I'm yet to get a school that offers that in chemistry.

uk would have been perfect, but it's already flooded

Please if you want to try UK, please do forget the flooded part, no matter how many of us are going to UK and Canada, we are not more than Indians going to both locations. Abeg no send anybody papa.

So sorry, it will end in praise. If you have faith.
We have similar sponsor package, but in my own case I earned 80k+ monthly and at the time I submitted my application I don't have more than 1k, excluding the deed of gift that was transferred to me by my sponsor a week before I submitted, which I back It up with high court deed of gift, sponsor letter on company letter head, affidavit of support, all cac documents, company soa and reference letter. You can check my post to see my timeline. I only used my work to show my experience base on my program and how it will give me a senior/manager position in other to earn more in my organisation/Nigeria.
With your salary alone they already know that you can't take care of yourself.

Thanks bro............is there a way we reach eachother?

It has been said here many times that some lawyers just love to extort people . If you go to any high court and ask those guys working there that you want to do a gift deed they may not charge you up to 10k

Start by September.
.
What you need to do is get an updated Letter of acceptance from your school showing that you would be starting by September 2023. After getting the updated letter of acceptance all you have to do is inform IRCC by sending them your updated letter of acceptance via webform. When you later travel for September resumption , you won't have any problem at the port of entry as long as it's the same program and same school (DLI) as that in the first letter of acceptance.

I hope everything works well for you and your daughter by God’s grace. I have been following your stories and hopefully she is able to leave on Tuesday. Otherwise like you said everything will be according to Gods timing. All the best!

NGOZIGLORI:
Please am equally interested in the response to this question. Because we are considering this as the next option for my daughter.
The last day given to be in school is 12th which is next week Thursday
We had to cancel the flight we booked for tomorrow Saturday. Am scared to book another flight as the last day she can leave is Tuesday. The tension and anxiety is just much.
We hàve done everything humanly possible.

Whatever happens we will accept it with good faith.
She will use the period of waiting to learn skills that she can apply over there and use to make extra cash.

We're leaving VFS Lagos now. They said it's not ready and we're to receive two more mails before we come for pickup.
Hopefully if we receive the mails today we will go on Monday to pick it up.

But I told you not to go there . You need to see Lagos in that email before you go also chat them up before you go

Greetings everyone. Please I need clarity on this. I am hoping to gain admission in a school that doesn't offer Post PGWP. I actually don't see it as much a problem cos I intend to apply for another course that will earn me a 3 years PGWP.

But my question is this. Is it true that a student who schooled in an institution that doesn't offer PGWP won't be eligible to bring over family?

Another school of thought says if my wife comes, she won't be eligible for open work permit. Pls how true is this?

Thank you so much while I anticipate response.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by match2016: 5:07pm On Jan 06, 2023
You will need a lot of patience, time and data lol but it is doable once you get a hang of it. Start by reading through these threads here and google as well. Most of the things are there. Read up on what you will need to package for your uncle too since that is a third party sponsorhip. All the best

Pls the gurus in the house kindly clarify, at age 37 must you be going for a masters program in Canada to get an easier approval?

Older people are getting it more than the young folks. Apply for pdg save lots of millions and support your documents with landed properties you are good to go.i am 39 and got mine my friend is 44 also got his pgd
