How does one explain purchase of black market fx inside SOP. Statement shows transfer to seller(individual a/c). How do I present this to the V.O Secondly ... I've been borrowing someone money for over like 2 years now, and the person has been paying back with "loan repayment" as narration. Apart from explaining this in SOP ... is there any document I can use ? Or would a letter from the person suffice |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Bobomaigida: 11:51am On Jan 25, 2023 |
nannanie10: Fast but expensive - You buy from black market and send via wire transfer to the school. Fast but expensive - Some schools have arrangements with some transfer agencies like Western Union, but their rate is black market rates. Slow but affordable - Use Form A through your bank in Nigeria, rates are "cheap", but it takes about 60 days to process. 1 Like |

subzheero:If the opening balance of the main sponsor is 4mill and then it rose up to 22mill for the application, it could be a red flag. It best to have minimum of 70% of total funds needed as opening balance to be able to further convince them your funds are genuine. |
