YOLOGOLD:
Hello everyone,

Please I have some questions I need your advice on.

I have had 2 Canada student visa refusals and I am working on re-applying soon. Although, I have now realized somethings I did wrong with both applications that were refused.

First Application: I used an agent that didn't care about the outcome of the application but just to get their money. I was refused with 4 refusal reasons.

Second Application: I did the application myself. I didn't pay part of the tuition, my admission was for a diploma and I have a bachelors degree and some diplomas with over 10 years of work experience. Now I realize that was me shooting myself in the foot. My application was refused with just 1 refusal reason.

Since my last application though my life has changed for the better.

1. I have gotten married. I think this gives a boost to the application (not sure)
2. Significant increase in my income

etc.

I don't know if the university of admission also plays a role in one's chances of getting PPR.

I plan on getting admission for a Masters degree this time around.

What University would you advice I apply for admission to. Please bear in mind, I am in the tech industry, a Software Engr. with over a decade of professional work experience.

PLEASE I WILL REALLY APPRECIATE IF I COULD GET A RESPONSE.

You have degree result and applying for diploma?

Does anyone have an idea, what could have caused this

.

Your home ties are not strong?
Are you applying alone or with your family?

Funding: you should come out clearly on what you submitted so you can get help?
Self sponsored or 3rd party sponsorship?

Good evening.
Please, I was refused yesterday. I want to reapply ASAP. How do I tackle the V
O's concern. ( The VO said I have not submitted sufficient documentation to show my or host incomes and assets.)
It was a third party sponsorship.
I only submitted Deed of Gift, Affidavit of Sponsorship and the Company statement of account together with my SOA.

Please, I need help o, my intake is May.

I think you should also add pay slips for both of you

Hello,
Do a part of the funds need to be in the students account even if the sponsor is a parent or everything can be in the parents account?

Yes. Oyibo likes proofs.
He should even pay part tuition from his account

My kids are both under the school age, but I did mention in the application that we will be applying for them at the point of entry
Shayo5:
Congratulations on your PPR. You mentioned your kids were born in the US, this means they do not need to apply for visa right?

But did you apply for study permit for them as well?

Chat them on VFS website, they will give you the 14 digits tracking number. Then go to ups.com and use the number to track your package.... UPS is not as effective as DHL, so you may experience additional unnecessary delay from them.

Regards.

Lawode:
Good evening guys, Glory to God!!!!!! our testimony came in early! Family of four. Student permit for wife and SOWP for me. We did all by ourselves and with the help of God, and the e application details provided by @Oloking and @Dayo96 ( Dear Brother, the saving project worked). @Tolulope1 thanks for being so warm and helpful. We submitted the usual documents so there is nothing to list in that regard except the few unique ones like:
a) h my family, the situation surrounding my job and why I had to go to Canada with my job)
j) Bill and receipts for children had in the US
(k) Explanation of the intent to sell the dollars in my Dorm at the parallel rate.
l) Commitment to fall back on my RSA should I lose my job or sell two of my vehicles
m) Hometies - Job, work benefits ( I have a lot to lose in benefits if I don't come back, and this is the absolute, verifiable truth), personal relationship with employer, established profession etc)
n) Travel history ( UK, US, UAE - existing US visa
o) Plans to convert 25% of RSA towards mortgage under the new policy in that regard.
p) I had to state a commitment towards monthly savings to shore up my proof of fund for living expenses in the second year. We have funds for the first year.
q) We paid the first year tuition.

These are things that easily come to mind.

My observations and advice:

I give glory to God, this is the Lord's doing and it is marvellous in our eyes. My wife is super pumped for her post graduates and the family time we will have in Canada.

Hello

My question is, should the sponsor transfer all living expense to the student account if the sponsor is the parent or he/she could just transfer a part of it?

hi guys please i need advice i have applied for masters program in public administration university of regina. i have not started building my proof of funds as i plan to use my stepdad as my sponsor. he has a very active inflow and outflow of money as it is also a business account. Now the intake is in september, only september of every year. The plan is to pay the full tuition for a year and fix the living expenses in his account before i apply. So this is my question, does the living expenses have to be there for m4 months before application or i can apply even though it has just been sent. Mind you it is a very active account, only that the money does not stay there for long. Please i really need advice i don't want to mess this up. I would appreciate if someone can put me through.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Dorisdili: 3:08pm On Feb 22, 2023
Hi everyone. I got denied again the second time. Please see screenshot attached for the reason.

The first denial was due to ties in Nigeria and Canada as I have siblings in Canada. Also, the purpose of visit as I used a diploma course to apply and not post graduate. I ordered gcms note and the officer added that I am single and mobile and is not convinced I will leave Canada at the end of my stay, the officer also wrote that the program is not in line with my career path as I have a first degree in English and I was going for Health care Admin. I choose this course because I have work experience working as an admin in a clinic. My sponsor was my Dad at the time, I paid first semester and closing balance was about 34million

I took my time and read through nairaland, I reapplied for a post graduate health care administration and I eventually got married along the line.

This time I applied with a post graduate admission, used my husband as sponsor and my dad as co-sponsor. Husbands statement was 27 million, my personal account was 17million, my dad's statement was 34million, I paid first semester tuition and in my statement of purpose, I explained how the course will be beneficial to me and the family business as my husband is a Doctor and he owns a private clinic, as how I have experience working as an admin but I wanted to improve on my skillset in order to revamp our family business - the clinic. I added my husband's land documents, my land document and my dads land document, I added my husband's business registration and clinic documents, I added my dad's business documents as well. I also added my shares documents. I also added sponsor letters from both sponsors stating willingness to remain sponsors.

I am not sure what I did wrong this time to get finance and assets as a reason for denial as I used the same assets as the last application (dads land, statement) in addition to my land and husband's land documents and statement. I am the only one traveling as well. Someone please help. Thank you

Anyone but I prefer he pays the tuition and transfer living expenses into your account with the supporting documents of sponsorship.
