Revelations have started to be made on how Nigeria got itself into the current high level of insecurity in the country.

Abubakar Kawu Baraje, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC) on Monday traced the origin of the current insecurity in the country to the influx of Fulani from neighboring countries like Sierra Leone, Mali, Senegal, Niger and Chad brought into the country for election purposes in 2015.

He said this in Ilorin as part of activities to mark his 70th birthday anniversary

He also backed self-help initiatives of the south west governors, stating that re­sponses of Sunday Igboho to the herdsman menace were necessary because the Federal Government failed in its prin­cipal responsibility to secure life and property

On the recent moves by some ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC) governors to woo former president, Good­luck Jonathan, Baraje said that the ruling party was only wast­ing its time.

According to the former PDP chairman, who also once served as the party’s national secretary and chairman of the breakaway faction of PDP that formed the nucleus of the current ruling party, the Fulani men causing havoc in the country are not aboriginal to Nigeria.We are not asking the right question on how the same Fu­lani we have been living with suddenly turned out a menace.

“We also must ask how they had access to their guns,” the ex-party chairman asked.

Baraje said that the Fulani men wreaking havoc in the country are not the Nigerian Fulani.

“The security agencies have not been open about the nature of the problem.

“They have made arrests. Why haven’t they told the pub­lic who the terrorists are?” asked Baraje.

According to him, the Fu­lani causing security problems in the country were brought in to help facilitate victory in the 2015 election.

“After the election, the Fu­lani have refused to leave. I and other like minds wrote and warned those we started APC with that this was going to hap­pen but nobody listened,” he explained.

Fulanis bought more weapons and used it to kill innocent Nigerians plus those that brought them in.

If the government of the day is not afraid of it very shadow, why have they not invited Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje to come and substantiate on his allegations
This is not the first time, Mr. Baraje has been quoted to have made this same statement, so why is the DSS & the Police refused to extend to him and invite's for questioning on his expository, but very weighty allegation like this

Nothing new here...we knew how to came from Chad and Niger into Borno, Kastina and Yobe state...to inflate their voters registration number in order to win election. Today we all are suffering from their greed to hold power, not as if they have great plans for the nation, but just in a bid to claim sophistication. I rather burn all bridges than to build one like the bridges the Yorubas are building with Fulani. This Fulanis and Kanuris are not even Nigerians in the first place.

If there is any single reason why you must NEVER vote for APC in 2023, THIS IS IT!

Nigeria already had her own internal problems, and we were handling them jejeley as other countries do... until APC came.

No sane NIGERIAN should forget this truth as the 2023 elections approach.

If APC imported terrorists just to win elections, how on earth can their candidate fix the terrorist problem?
