Report reaching out announces a violent gun-fire between Policemen and armed rubbers in Ilesha, Osun State this morning.

It was reported that the robbers were operating in some banks at Isokun area the police intercepted them.

It was also gathered that the armed bandits had succeeded in carting away a yet non-ascertained amount of cash loads from a first generation bank before proceeding to other banks.


Many travellers on the Ilesha-Osun state road and Ekiti axis were caught up in the shootout.

It is not known yet how many causalities or injuries were sustained as at the time of compiling this report.
