The Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) concluded the voter registration exercise on the 31st of July,2022. Below is what to know about the voter exercise: 1) INEC registered 12,298,944 voters. This increases the number of registered voters from 84,000,484 in 2019 to 96,299,428. 2) 8.7 million out of the 12.2million voter are within the age bracket of 18-34, and 2.4 million are in the age bracket 35-49. Then a total of 856,017 are in the age group 50-69, while 127,541 voters are 70 and above. 3) A total of 6,224,866 are femalewhile 6,074,078 are male. 4) Lagos(585,629), Kano (569,103) and Delta(523,517) are the states with the highest number of registered voters. 5) The states with the lowest number of registered voters are Ekiti(124,844), Yobe state (152,414) Abuja(211,341) Follow for more. https://veegil.com/topic/62eac4e7b0c3ef0d4b37236c |
