Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc. All deny justification by faith alone in Christ alone. They admit that we must have faith, but we must demonstrate our faith by our works. The combination brings us to salvation, to justification. While it is certainly true that we ought to have good works along with our faith, our works have no part in obtaining it. Justification is by faith alone in Christ alone (Rom. 3:28; 4:5; Phil. 3:9). Nevertheless, these groups connect faith and works and say that both are necessary. Yet, they maintained that we are not justified by works.
