I am equally Obedient
The name Peter Obi has come to stay.It is like tsunami which caught the entire nation unaware and so unprepared for.What do I mean by these?
Most of the people including myself were not expecting a deviation from the assumed norms.After all a Peter Obi as a PDP member then was not expected to win the primary in PDP but expected to come out as vice for whoever wins,by that, many of us who know the Northerners and their brand of politics are expecting the flag bearer of the PDP to be from the northern extraction,by which they did not dissapoint.

It took us as a surprise when Peter Obi left the party and joined the Labour Party.The support has always been there for him anyway but it tripled even quadrupled when he stood alone as a presidential candidate.

Nigerians who have been looking for any other option apart from the Old and strong political parties,talking about the PDP and APC see the ray of light beckoning on the nation through Gregory Peter Obi.There is a new buzz of energy,a fresh air and new enthusiasm pervading the nation.Obi's name becomes the next anthem even far more than the chanting of the Nigeria national anthem.

Permit me fellow Obidients and useful Nigerians to crave our indulgence by quickly swimming past these euphoric and electrifying moments and start engaging our candidate in earnest.How? By asking strong and realistic questions from our candidate.

I have my fears and just may be,may be because,I saw how the Buharideens started then.How they would not listen to any dissenting comments on the incumbent then.To them whoever or whatever they said Buhari did or he is,is acceptable by them.But we can all testify to how far we have gone with the presuppositions and blinded love some of them have for him back then.7 years plus down the lane we now know better.

What exactly is the Agenda of our incoming President?Is he going for restructuring or what exactly? Except we want to deceive ourselves,any candidate now,who is not doing anything on restructuring is definitely not for us.Lets take it upon this our God sent messiah to make restructuring a key policy.

I have my fear also on the pockets of agitators from the east.Wont they see him as an opportunity to start an onslaught on the others?Don't forget that Nigeria as a nation has not done well in power sharing concerning the igbos.I just pray and hope that what we are seeing under the Buhari regime as per the fulani millitants won't repeat itself under Peter Obi when the election finally sways in his favour.If he does,I can assure you fulani massacre would be a child's play.

There has been some clapback on Peter Obi concerning the issues of infringing the rights of local government development by not allowing them to start working in earnest when he was the governor of Anambra State.There was also the issues of the sars arbitrary arrest and brutality under his reign as governor.There is also the seemingly consistent misrepresentation of data from his sides too.

Let's take him to Task on all these allegations and allow him to reply to all of them and allay the fear of people like me who like him,but would like to know his position before we go far.

Shouting dissenting opinions down this time will definitely not help us.For the record,I can tell you I would have gone the way of the Batistutas if not because of the health of the candidate and his unnecessary sticking with Muslim Muslim candidature.Now I am Obidient but will like us to desist from being cult like like the Buhari loud mouthed supporter who have now suddenly become imbecillic silent all of a sudden.

I know how many of their platforms I was shut out from in the wake of this administration.Today I am speaking but they dare not because of course they will be lynched.
