The federal government has disclosed that acts of terrorism in the northern parts of the country have not significantly affected agricultural production.

Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mohammed Abubakar, who made this known yesterday at a news briefing at the State House, Abuja, also said about 3.6 million indirect jobs had been created from $2.4 billion worth of externally funded projects being implemented by the present administration

Answering a question on reported inability of farmers in the northern part of the country to access their farms, Abubakar said though the federal government was concerned about the development, it had not significantly hampered food production.

The minister stated, “About farmers not being able to access their farms in the North-east, North-west, and North-central, yes, it’s a concern for the government. However, if you notice, our production still has not dropped to any significant level and it’s one of the reasons why we have this arrangement for the agro-rangers to provide some measure of security to be able to access the farms.

He just want to settle his kins permanently in Nigeria .. and they’re doing all to enforce it .. only say man no be God..

Nigeria has survived a lot and will survive more

Despite the numbers of farmers that have been killed on their farms and several others severely wounded beyond recovery, and herdsmen rearing their cows into peoples’ farms to feed, FG is claiming that the protracted security challenge in Nigeria has not significantly affected food production?? That’s so unfortunate and insensitive!

They are right, it has not affected food production once there is no more food to eat then Nigerians will see reasons to elect reasonable people to govern them. So long as people are still canvassing to vote APC, it means Buhari is doing well. Cassava and corn is on the way .

Food production has not dropped when people can't go to their farms for fear of been killed or kidnapped, do they even know the prices of goods in Nigeria at all. APC must never happen in this country again. In fact these set of people from the presidency down to all appointed officials

They are just preventing farmers from going to their farms or collecting taxes from them before they can harvest for fun.

With the acute shortage of foodstuffs with the associated high cost as well as the food insecurity all attributed to the unending atrocities of fulani terrorists in Nigeria today?

These fools are obviously living in their fools paradise.
They love telling lies because they know some gullible citizens will always listen and believe them.

Those foools won't notice a drop in food production even if a nuclear blast destroys all the farms in Nigeria. Do they patronize the open food market? Dumbfucks the whole lot of them.
