Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State must seek forgiveness from God for accepting to work for the Tinubu presidential campaign organisation, the Coalition of Concerned Northern Christians in the All Progressives Congress has said.

In a statement on Sunday signed by its leader, Rev. Jonathan Mark Gyang, the group said Lalong has sinned against the Holy Ghost.

Gyang said for assuming the role of Campaign Director of the APC presidential team, the governor has blasphemed in conscious and hardened opposition to the truth.

He said “Conscious and hardened resistance to the truth leads man away from humility and repentance, and without repentance there can be no forgiveness”.

Quoting Luke 12:8–10, he said “And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man also will acknowledge before the angels of God; but whoever denies me before others will be denied before the angels of God. And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven."

According to Gyang, the APC’s Muslim-Muslim ticket is satanic, wicked and blasphemous.

He said Christian leaders across the country denounced the party’s presidential candidates because it comes with God’s wrath.

“The wages of sin is death. Galatians 6 vs 7 said, ‘Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows’. Lalong and his cronies will receive God's wrath for turning their backs against believers. The end will be disastrous,” he added.

“It is on this note that we want to advise Governor Lalong to avoid eternal punishment by seeking for forgiveness. As a body, we have interceded and God has revealed to us that he will show him mercy if he turns away from his evil ways. Our God is merciful. His anger lasts only a moment, but his favour persists for a lifetime.

“ We are also using this opportunity to urge fellow believers not to be wary. Persecution and troubling times are ahead over our strong disapproval of the APC's devilish agenda. However, we will prevail. The Church of God will match on and the gates of hell can not prevail against it”.

The worst sin in this world is a sin against the Holy ghost.

Lalong should apologise, repent and leave the party of devil's.

*Lalong: The DG of Failure*

By Emma Zopmal

Mr DG of Tinubu's Campaign Council. Well done. With all the APC members in this country, nobody is fit to drive the campaign for Tinubu. It's you who is qualified to deliver. Did you hustled for it or APC scavenged for you?
In case you hustled for it, Mr DG, permit me to draw your attention to the following;

A. You became Governor in 2015 in Plateau State out of sheer protest against the former PDP's gubernatorial candidate on the ground of *marginalisation* of other ethnic groups in Plateau State which catapulted to land in Government House like a dream.

B. Mr DG, you were hoodwinked to be Chairman of a moribund forum called Northern Governors Forum which none of the said Governors of the forum you chair ever visited you in Jos but you rather waste taxpayers' money in the state to travel up and down for *baban riga* meetings.

C. Mr DG, under your nose, more than five thousand Plateau people have been killed in different communities, lands grabbed and renamed by Fulanis, thousands of diaplaced, farm crops destroyed up to now, houses burnt down, yet you tell the world that there's peace in Plateau State.

D. Mr DG, the last time I heard that Tinubu came to Plateau State, he snubbed you in Government House as APC Governor and went straight to Sheik Yahaya Jingir's residence on courtesy visit. Not even an attempt to visit a sitting APC Governor.

E. Mr DG, there was serious move by you to be the running mate to Tinubu but you were snubbed again.

That is by the way. In case they scavenged for you to be the DG of the Agbado and Cassava Campaign Council, I want to draw your attention to the following;

A. Have you now jettisoned the *marginalisation* mantra on which basis brought you to limelight as Governor in 2015? Or, is the marginalisation of Christians by your Campaign Council a righteousness?

B. Have you suddenly forgotten that just about 3 weeks ago that the body of Christ was ridiculed by Tinubu and Shetima when they opened a Godless diocese with bishops of Baal in attendance?

D. Don't you know that recently Tinubu charged Supreme Council of Islam in Nigeria to create Department for Political Awareness so as to mobilize Muslims to vote for him? Are you now going to join them against the Church in Nigeria?

E. While your brothers are jettisoning Tinubu and his cohorts, you are bowing in to promote the divisive, excruciating marginalisation of Christians in Nigeria, and the failed APC-controlled Government?

Mr DG, I don't want to draw your attention to the fragile and frailty nature of the bishop of Agbado and Cassava diocese. I believe you'll find my points worthy to ponder on in your bedroom. Self-reflection is instructive in leadership in case you want to be remembered for someday. This group of guys have never seen anything good about you apart from when they want you to break your back executing a herculean task for them. Haven't you noticed this all the while in the course of your interactions so far? So you are only competent to Tinubu and Shetima when it comes to tilling the ground. They have now recruited you into their political plantation farm but rest assured that they'll chase you out of the farm before the harvest.

I don't know what price you are paying now. This price, whatever, is not worth it.

I leave you with this homily from the Bible, What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?.
