Oluwatobi Amusan, the female 100-meter hurdle world record holder, has successfully defended her 100 meter hurdle Commonwealth title, winning gold at the ongoing games in Birmingham.

Ms Amusan, who won the competition in 2018, finished in 12.30 seconds on Sunday morning, defeating Australia’s Michelle Jenneke, England’s Cindy Sembre, Danielle Williams, and Jamaican duo Danielle Williams and Megan Tapper.
