don't mind the idiot, our bitterness is too much in this country.

Poverty has really frustrated alot of Nigerians, that we can't even express ourselves without making a horrible statement. It's really bad

There's nothing really special about Malaysia. They used to be poorer than Nigeria. The moment they got leadership right, things began to change for the better. They used to be the poorest of all asians. Next year is around the corner. Vote wisely

Recently I (with some friends) went for a jungle trip to Cheng Wong forest in Malaysia (located in Krau Wildlife Reserve). The original inhabitants of the forest are the Orang Asli people. The forest size is about 61,000ha (bigger than the size of Singapore), The journey was 14km trekking into the forest from Lanchang village (East coast Malaysia). The trek took us between 4-5 hours but with 15mins rest after every 1 hour trekking. We slept in the jungle (camping) for 2 nights and set up our tent in the open, we took out bath in the stream, had to drink and cook with the water flowing from the stream.

Our tour lead is Mr Zali, he is a former VAT69 leader (a sand colour beret member), he is tough and a serious lead as he doesn’t like people complaining.

Here is a brief about the Orang Asli people:

The population is about 1000

Their major religion is animalism
They are the smallest tribe in Malaysia
The leader of the tribe is Quan he is more than 90 years old and very strong man
The name of his wife is Wan,
He has 13 children
He was had opportunity to go UK but he rejected the offer as he didn’t trust anywhere outside the jungle
They are heavy smokers and starts smoking as early as age 6
They are largely hunters and fishermen
They don’t engage in business or sell things to themselves
A professor came from UK to spend 20months in the jungle to make a research about Quan and his people in the 80’s

The trip was really interesting.

Here are the jungle rules:
1. No cutting of trees of plucking of leaves
2. no killing of ANY animal or insect in the forest
3. no littering of the forest (we had to move all our trash out of the forest)
4. no destruction of lives or reducing the population of the forest
5. Special permit is requested/required from the authority before going into the forest (the permit takes about 2 weeks to get approval)
6. Everyone is required to sign a letter of indemnity before going into the forest (meaning you are OYO if anything happens to you)
7. You are to submit a copy of your passport and go into the forest with a copy as part of your luggage

The rules above applies only to forest/jungle guests, it does not apply to the inhabitants

Another thing wey dey vex me with so-called educated Nigerians is the ignorant and arrogant braggadocio. Someone who inhales generator fumes will open his mouth waaaaa to say that his neighbour is wasting money in building a nuclear power facility. How can you as a Nigerian utter such? Honestly, this arrogance by Nigerians is annoying! Malaysia was even richer and still richer than Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Phillippines, Brunei etc. Only Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore were richer than Malaysia during the '90s across East and South East Asia. So, which one is "they used to be the poorest of all Asians? Remember, you are a citizen of the country with the highest number of people in multidimensional poverty globally!

Maybe you meant Vietnam and Laos, but Malaysia was not poor during the '90s and till date. Ethnic and racial divisions have stalled their growth, but she is doing better than ALL African countries. No African country has a stronger passport than Malaysia (poor countries don't have strong passports). Her citizens get good jobs or easier migration opportunities to nearby nations to work. Then someone whose next president chants "Agbado, cassava, ewa ehhh" says Malaysia is not special!

The arrogance, ignorance and braggadocio by the majority of Nigerians need to be televised for the world to see how stoopid citizens can be!

It is different.

Did you see Fulani herdsmen? Police checkpoint? Did they prepare against Fulani herdsmen or have you heard or read farmers in Malaysia being butchered by ranging nomadic murderers?

For real?
Boko Haram that was brought to destabilize and embarrass the PhD holders gov even by the the chibok girls kidnapping. Who told the PhD holder that an attack on Boko Haram was an attack on the north when PhD man fought back?
Even when Mr PhD saw sabotage by eliments in the army, and took a proactive step by employing the services of South African defense contractors that in 2 months took over land the size of Belgium from Boko Haram, who then said it was an embarrassment that Nigeria had to employ mercenaries? Further canceled the contract? The heardsman oga at the top and apc lead by the agbado master!
PhD holder decimated Boko Haram to the level elections held in all local gov if the country.
Today what is the situation? Can you travel to your village in the north? Do it I dare you! Hmm. I will contribute to your ransom fund, even if it is 5k.
Hit the nail harder bro!!
