The Word is not in the Bible at all just as many words in your dictionary are also missing from many of your bible translations and for good reason. That book is meant to be read and understood by even laymen.

That said, rather than search arbitrarily for words in scripture, Jesus Christ instead commands that His followers bow to and obey His every teaching and commandment as that is the only way to be saved. He also indicated that only those who remain faithful, continuing in submission and obedience to His teachings and commandments, until the end, will be saved - Matthew 24 vs 12 - 13 & Matthew 13 vs 13.

Is it stated anywhere in the Gospels that only those who subscribe to your rapture idea will be saved? Why argue meaninglessly on that which doesn't matter abandoning that which you were instead called to focus on... the Truth of God?

It is not! Like the word Trinity is not mentioned in the Bible text.

It is based on rough (poor) transliteration of the greek word “harpazo” or “ harpagēsometha” or latin “rapturo” mentioned by apostle Paul in 1 Thes 4:17; meaning “caught up” or “to gather together” or “to snatch away”.


The theory of (pre trib) rapture is not supported biblically.

What is scriptural is: a gathering of saints that will occur instantly AFTER the great Tribulation ( see matt 24:28-31, 1Cor 15:51-54.

The dead will arise (those who were martyred) and those who did not take mark of beast will be caught up (“raptured”). THIS is the first resurrection. See Revelation 20.

THEN those of first resurrection rules with Yeshua in the new Jerusalem on earth (after antichrist destroyed).

Satan is bound for 1000 years.

After 1000 years, satan is unleashed and destroyed forever.

THEN comes the great white throne judgement when EVERYONE including the rest of the dead (2nd resurrection) is judged and those whose name are not in the book of life are condemned to hades (with Satan) forever and ever.
