It's so sad that we hear news of people, families and communities being terrorized daily by bandits and other terrorist groups. And it appears as though there is no solution anywhere. But it is possible to end it. And the only two options are; 1. State police. This off course can only be possible if our lawmakers review our constitution to make room for it. And they can do it. 2. Permit states to arm vigilante groups with sophisticated weapons like AK 47. These are the only way these terrorists can be defeated. The FG soldiers can't do it alone. There are saboteurs amongst them. What is your take? 3 Likes 1 Share |

Vote in the right Candidates and political party and see insecurity a thing of the past. Stop voting people that support terrorists, brought in bandits for elections and others who want to continue from where they stopped. Many countries in the World don't have State Police and are still very peaceful. Just do the right thing in 2023 1 Like |

Op. Your submission is good, but the main issue is there is money in terrorism, how? Some cabal believe budget for security is for them, the more insecurity in the country the more fg increase the budget for security and more money for the cabal. State police and vigilantes will only produce insignificant effect. I here provide two solutions 1Restructuring the country to regions, where every region take care of resources and security problem. 2 Or let separate to our various groups. |

State Police is the way to go. Arming vigilantes would only cause more trouble later on. Infact, Nigeria should be divided in a way that each region should control her resources. Nigeria is to complex for only one person to have a say on how things would be in Nigeria. 1 Like |

I thought by now a state of emergency should have been declared on security. But our leaders at all levels seem not to be bothered. |

TruthinAction:All these won't work out until their Sponsorers are being exposed and arrested. These terrorists have Sponsorers that our so-called govt and Security agencies are hiding from us. Until our so-call govt and security agencies are willing to expose and arrest these Sponsorers, nothing will work out. |

Truvelisback: I agree with you. Maybe, they are one of the sponsors. You can't expose yourself. The whole truth will come out one day. |

Truvelisback:It will work to an extent, the reason they succeed in attacks is because people are not well armed. They will always get sponsors, especially from Arabic countries and extremist Islamic organisations, the most important thing is for us to protect ourselves. If they have sponsors, we too we come together, we have money, pool funds from government and businesses, big men, buy solid weapons and grenades, for vigilantes. |

Patriotsleague:I'm talking of Sponsorers with in. Ur so-called govt and security agencies know them. They just decided to keep mute. Until these sponsorers are exposed and arrested, they will keep recruiting people for crime. |

Truvelisback:The Buhari government is leaving office soon, let's talk of what we know, that is having our gun,if we have guns, we don't care who supports them, we are more than them. We simply kill them back. Think beyond Buhari tenure. Their sponsors don't matter if we have guns, what matters is Nigerians can defend themselves. Think of what you can do for solution, what people are doing is not what you should worry about. |
