The fresh attack occurred barely one month after Sadiq, one of the sons of the elder statesman was released from captivity.

The Chairman of the Northern Elders Forum, Ango Abdullahi has said his daughter-in-law has been kidnapped.

The fresh attack occurred barely one month after Sadiq, one of the sons of the elder statesman was released from captivity.

Sadiq was kidnapped along with scores of other passengers on a Kaduna-bound train on March 28.

Ango Abdullahi confirmed the fresh attack to the Daily Trust on Wednesday, saying the victim's four children were also kidnapped.

"My daughter-in-law, Ramatu Samaila, was among the abductees including her four children. She is the wife of my son-in-law who is the village head of Yakawada,” he said.

According to sources, terrorists stormed the residence of Alhaji Rilwanu Saidu, the village head, in Yakawada village in Kaduna's Giwa Local Government Area on Tuesday night.

Daily Trust learned that they also kidnapped some victims at the house of the monarch's neighbour after robbing the village head's immediate family.

“They also went to the residence of the neighbour to the village head and kidnapped the household, Abubakar Mijinyawa along with his two wives, namely Aisha and Hajara. And the two wives were both nursing mothers who were abducted with their little babies,” he said.

The source added that one patrol guard, Aminu Lawal, was slain by the bandits during the attack.

According to reports, three victims of the incident are being treated at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital in Zaria.

Ango Abdullahi’s son was among the over 60 passengers abducted on a Kaduna-bound train in March. He was released after four months in captivity.

No one is safe in this country

APC really destroyed this country and for Tinubu to say that he would continue from where Buhari stopped is a threat to my life, my friends and the whole Nigerian people

Affliction shall not rise a second time.

Meanwhile, this Ango Abdullai was a major voice supporting the influx of jihadist fulanis and bandits into the south west.

I remember when he would grant interviews to condemn the southerners who are opposing the kidnapping, destruction and killings by Fulanis in the south.

Now, he’s now a major victim of the evil he once openly supported and defended.

LOL .... Ango Ango..
When you were hiding the facts and reality of what is wrong with Arewa forgetting you have a family there, you get this.

Elder statesman who feels comfortable with the threat to life by evil terrorists in the name satisfying paymasters should certainly feel comfortable with the results.

The day all international airports will be shutdown by these terrorists eh... I go so happy
