There are mental health therapists in that same Nigeria...just because you have not done a thorough enough search for them does not mean they are not available. Addiction is not a new thing in Nigeria, and yes, there are mental health hospitals that take care of our mentally ill. Then there are also some who offer e-therapy these days. You just need to look for and find them. I don't expect that should be hard for a university student to do.

And in the case that they are sparse, you can always look into building an app to help locate and register these professionals so others can also have more direct access than you began with. These are ideas that can help you and others in the end.
