A Legend's Perception Of Women by McDoe(m): 11:50am On Aug 16, 2007 |
Rememeber "Ebami Eda", the Afro Legend? You know that he had many wives. So in terms of women issues, he can be regarded as an authority. In one of his popular piece title 'Yellow Fever', he did say women will always mean the opposite of what they say when it comes sex-related matters; that they are great pretenders. According to him, "if a women says, i no wan do, she means i wan do". How true is this view/perception of women? This further resurfaced an issue which has been treated somewhat in this forum. Despite their (women) claim that they are not, can we take Fela's perception seriously? Please let us be objective; and the ladies will do us a lot of good by their sincere responses. Thanks. |

Quote from iice " people generally are pretenders". count me out! I don't say yes when I mean to say no. quote from basetsana " may be your so called legend should say the women he knows" But he had dozens of them. Was that not enough to understand them? 1 Like |

@ Crazykid, Dont believe the shizzy. When a gurl says no in UK and u go ahead . . . . . . . . . Then its 6 years imprisonment plus ur having ur name engraved on the SEX OFFENDER'S REGISTER for LIFE. Fela is a twisted soul . . . . .Sometimes NO means simply NO. |

Re: A Legend's Perception Of Women by tnaidaR(f): 1:27pm On Aug 22, 2007 |
For goodness' sake! Why would a woman lie to her husband or boyfriend if she really wants sex? What kind of girls d'u meet? Fela? |
Re: A Legend's Perception Of Women by Jackal(m): 1:31pm On Aug 22, 2007 |
Fela had some rolls of weed before singing that song. Why would anyone take a woman's NO for a YES? Fela was not in his correct mental state when that song was produced, trust me. |
Re: A Legend's Perception Of Women by jkpretty(f): 1:39pm On Aug 22, 2007 |
Are u saying Fela had a terrible mental case (kolo) at dat period, i suppose so & we can obviously see d followers on this thread. |
Re: A Legend's Perception Of Women by tnaidaR(f): 4:26pm On Aug 22, 2007 |
I mean, someone who judges women by what Fela and his cohorts have to say about women is way gone and lost. |
Re: A Legend's Perception Of Women by McDoe(m): 8:14am On Aug 23, 2007 |
Jackal: Do you mean, the Afroking did not understand women enough to draw a conclusion on what affects them? C'mmon men, where are the apostles of the legend! |

Re: A Legend's Perception Of Women by Babykijos(f): 12:30pm On Aug 30, 2007 |
@poster: You cannot use one or few to judge all. At least, women are human beings just like men. Every one has his or her own attitude and behaviour. Therefore, for the fact that one or two persons said no when they were to say yes dsoesnt mean that all of are the same. Fela's piece or what u call it is a personal thing and i don't think he's right. |
