Obliterate many Ukrainian towns on August 24"; So, that's what is trending in the Russian sewage propaganda.

They've been trying to do that for everyday since February 24. Easier said than done.

Something has been stopping them: the Ukrainians- and they're still there stopping them today and will be there on August 24. It's getting even more difficult for the Russians to accomplish their plans with each passing day.

If they couldn't do it with all the fanfare in February, for all the 31 days of March, the 30 days of April, another 31 days in May, and with the 30 and 31 days respectively for June and just ending July -a total of 163 days as at today August 5- I do not see how they intend to "obliterate many towns on August 24th", when its taking them 163 days to go as far as they are now.

After 163 days, Russia has managed to occupy a piece of land in Ukraine that’s not large enough to bury all the Russian soldiers Putin sacrificed for it.

Russia has been building up forces to shore up slipping ground in the South and is expected to launch an offensive in southern Ukraine targeting Kherson in a bid to try win back momentum in the war.

Ukrainian forces recaptured two villages near the eastern city of Sloviansk and ISW reports that "Russian forces have pushed Ukrainian forces out of their positions around the Butivka Coal Mine ventilation shaft southwest of Avdiivka", a key defensive outpost for Avdiivka; this has been confirmed by Ukrainian authorities who acknowledged that Russian forces have been "partially" successful in that area.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) already anticipate a counteroffensive and are just as ready and better today than they did last month, or the month before that.

Though the Ukrainians were not out of ammo, but the last announced US military aid of $550 million contains more ammunition and just what Ukraine need to be ready for any massive counteroffensive:

1. At least 75,000 rounds of 155mm artillery ammunition.

2. Additional unspecified amount of ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS).

Each day that passes, the AFU gets better. By August 27, they will be even better than they are today.
