For God's sake, you all should shift your attention from Labour Party and Peter Obi alike and focus on some other parties. He's not even in power, he's not the only candidate, yet every party has now assumed opposition against LP and PO.

As for Fayose's permutation, that's just an overly repeated false narrative that is intended to create a defeatist mentality in Obi's followers.

Peter Obi is the next president of Nigeria. If you cannot decipher the force behind him, you cannot understand why.

grin grin don't de-popularize your candidate my friend.

You spoke the truth!
Many Obidients aren't asking the critical questions...all we see and hear is just blind support!
So much illiteracy in our land, Nairaland is a prime example!

There are so man ysmaller African countries that have a far better educated population than Nigeria and would be so far gone if they had the resources of Nigeria. We wouldnt not see their brake lights if they had the resources of Nigeria. Nigerians are so so poorly educated and on top of that they are saddled with tribalism and religion. The are many educated Nigerians who cant think critically, they are simply cram and regurgitate educated Nigerians. The true hallmark of an educated person is in your ability for critical thinking and analysis. Many Nigerians are good in their field but talk and argue like retards on anything outside their profession because the Nigerian education system does not train us to think but to cram and regurgitate at exams.

do not compare yourselves to kenyans, Kenyans are far more literate and educated than Nigerians. Kenya has a literacy rate of 83% in Nigeria it is 60%. Digest that for a second, 4 out of 5 Kenyans is literate, 3 out of every 5 Nigerians is literate i.e 2 out of every 5 Nigerians is an iliterate, statistically if you round up that is closer to 1 out of every 2 Nigerians being an iliterate!!!......and when you talk about literacy what is the quality of the literacy? Kenya doesnt fund Universities they focus their spending on secondary and primary education. The result is that not only is the foundation and quality of their basic education better, anybody who goes to University in kenya pays for his own education and therefore is more focused and comes out with a better degree unlike Nigeria where from primary to University the quality is dodgy because the money is not enough to provide good education at any level.

The result is kenyans are more likely to be intellectual in their thought process than Nigerians. kenmyans are more likely to be focussed on the real issues unlike Nigerians simply because we Nigerians are poorly educated and hence more likely to be moved by emotion tribe/religion than reason and critical thinking. So dont use Kenya as an example. Intruth if it were Kenya they would probably be asking what are peter Obi's past credentials, why did he spend decades importing kethcup and mayonaise when he could have established farms to plant tomatoes, eggs and vegetable oil and manufacturing plants to make ketchup and mayonaise in Nigeria, thus providing jobs in Nigeria instead of abroad.

Honestly, Peter Obi is lucky he is not contesting in Kenya, the kind of support he is getting in Nigeria especially from so called educated people and youth, he wont get in kenya, they are too educated and enlightened for that. He is lucky that the predominant factors in Nigeria are illiteracy, products of a poor education system, religion and tribal sentiments.

After all these, did you include yourself among the literate Nigerians? I suppose you did. But the truth is you're one the illiterates. You think you're educated but you're still full of tribalism, nepotism, clannishness. It's your backward mentality that made you unable up till now to grasp the fact that Peter Obi is the best candidate available.

But you failed to tell us if George Wajackoyah is as popular in Kenya as Peter Obi is in Nigeria. You failed to tell us if some former or current governors or it's equivalent in Kenya were romancing Wajackoyah like Wike, Ortom, Ikpeazu, Dakwambo, Mimiko, etc are doing for Obi. You failed to tell us that Kenya's president elect William Ruto fell out with his boss, the incumbent for about three years running. You failed to tell us that the outgoing president supported Ruto's 77 year old veteran rival. Stop leaving in denial. Peter Obi is Nigeria's next president come 2023 God willing. Thank you.

your problem like I have said many times is you are a product of a failed education system. Many Educated Nigerians do not think properly, tribalism and religion have blighted whatever limited IQ was possible to extract out of a poor educational system. if you had been properly educated, you would have realised that I mentioned peter Obi because the person I was responding to specifically and only mentioned labour Party.

Secondly if you scroll further to a post i made to a similar poorly educated Nigerian like yourself, you will see I specifically said none of the candidates are the messiah and it is a question of who is the least bad. There is nothing worse than engaging a poorly educated igerian in a debate and watch him argue against himself or expose himself.

Bro, if you decide to engage me come correct, i am not your typical poorly educated tribal and religious induced bigot on nairaland. When i talk i talk with facts and argue with verifiable data. When i give opinion I state this is opinion. We are not the same, when i got educated in Nigeria, our education was recognized internationally!!!!

Amumaigwe:

If Tinubu were to be running for the president of Kenya, what sort of questions should they be asking him?

1st of all an intelligent electorate should determine what are the issues he cares about.

For me the main issues are

1) insecurity
2) economy
3) restructuring

and they are all linked, without one you cant get the other or at the very least you cant get our full potential. All other sub issues, education, agriculture, self sufficiency, industries, health, roads, infrastructure, national Unity, currency etc etc hinge on, or are a subset of, the above

so for me, the question any intelligent electorate should ask any candidate are (using economy as an example in all cases)

Q: what is your position on the above and what are your plans?

expected answer: Our goal is to double the GDP of Nigeria over the next 10 years and create x million number of jobs annually

Q: HOW do you propose to to actualise your plans?

expected answer: these are the specific areas or industries we have identified e.g agriculture, cotton, road rail construction,Petrochemicals, power, timber, rubber, Oil palm, wheat, lithium, gold minning etc that will contribute to the acheivement of these goals. Cotton will produce x million, infrastructure will produce y millions jobs, minning will produce x million jobs, etc etc

Q: HOW do you expect to get the money for these projects?

We are going to raise taxes, create jobs (more people to tax) and reduce waste, we are going to stop petroleum importation by 2024, saving naira

Q: and what are the metrics by which you will measure success?

expected answer: to acheive our GDP targets, we expect the GDP to grow by 7% every year, on employment our target is x million jobs every year, on revenue, our metric is Revenue to GDp ratio our target is 25 in the 1st 2 years and 20% in year 4, on mining our target is x tonnes of lithium or gold or copper mined by 2027, on cotton our target in x tonnes of cotton by 2027, in Oil palm our target is self sufficiency in Oil palm production by 2023 and 100,000 hectares cultivated every year starting from 2024.

these are the questions intelligent electorate ask people running for office.

what is the plan, how will you execute it and pay for it and what are the metrics by which we can judge success.

This is not an exhaustive list, i only addressed economy and only examples, same quaetions need to be asked on insecurity and restructuring because you cannot acheive any meaningful economic growth without addressing the issues of restructuring and insecurity but the same template applies, they have to tell you their views, how they plan to adress the issues, where they intend to get the resiurces to address the issue and the targets and metrics to judge success and failure.

notice how many times I bold "How" .....an intelligent electorate asks "How"

Finally an intelligent electorate asks the most important question of all.........what in your past suggests you have the capacity to acheive these goals!!!
Re: Isaac Fayose: Tinubu Has The Structure, Peter Obi Needs ₦50 Billion To Win by jamace(m): 5:11pm On Aug 16, 2022
Which structure does Tinubu have? None, not even in the SW? .

1. Tinubu political structure in the SW collapsed on the day he denied that Fulanis/bandits were not killing the Yorubas, "where are the cows".

2. Tinubu political structure in the SW collapsed the day he failed to show solidarity with Sunday Igboho who was imprisoned by FGN for fighting for the freedom of the yorubas. Recall that eminent personalities of yoruba origin like Obasanjo, Wole Soyinka, and others went to Benin Republic to see Sunday Igboho BUT Tinubu pretended that nothing happened because he wanted power from his slave masters. We shall see how Tinubu will get that power.

3. Tinubu national political structure fell the day he lied on the INEC form that he did not attend primary and secondary schools.

4. Tinubu structure collapsed on the day of the APC presidential primary election when he refused to step down for VP Osibanjo.

5. Tinubu political structure collapsed on the day the new electoral law was promulgated. His thuggery and rigging strength clipped. grin

6. Tinubu lost his political structure on the day he, like an emperor, denied Ex-Gov Ambode a second term.

7. Tinubu political structure collapsed on the day he picked a muslim as presidential running mate.

8. Tinubu lost his political structure on the day he mobilised 30 fake bishops for the inauguration of his running mate, Shetima Kashim.

9. Tinubu lost his political structure on the day the AFENIFERE, the Yoruba socio-cultural group declared support for Peter Obi..

10. Tinubu lost political structure because he is aged and sick, both mentally and physically ...

11. Tinubu lost his political structure on the day he said he does not believe in one Nigeria...

12. Tinubu lost his political structure on the day he insulted President Buhari in a yoruba gathering, that Buhari cried when he lost election and said, "EMI LOKAN"..

13. Tinubu political structure collapsed on the day his political godson was defeated in Osun State governorship election, which is Tinubu's ancestral state.

14. E.t.c

I weep for Tinubu and his supporters who have refused to see the handwriting on the wall..Anyway, make una chop Tinubu money jare.

The greedy fly follows the corpse into the grave..

Just like Isaac Fayose said, PitObi is basically a spoiler to deflate Atiku's tyres.
