Arsenal has rejected Barcelona’s latest bid, thought to be in the area of £35 million, for the Spanish International.

Barcelona have botched with a £27m offer for Cesc Fabregas this summer and were believed to have upped that considerably, although with £5m of the fee coming in add-ons.

Gunners majority shareholder Stan Kroenke visited London on Thursday to attend the team’s Members Day and it is stated that he has backed the conclusion of Arsene Wenger and the club to hold out for £40m for the midfielder.
