Why won't they be saddistic when one small boy called Ahmad Bashir even while he has resigned earns almost as twice what a Prof receives!

When these students eventually graduate from the University, the only lesson they'll remember is the incessant strike. They will in turn go on regular strikes when they get employed.

This strike is fast making our children in the universities rusty!

I guess the entire civil service should embark on strike too because hardly none in the service including doctors, engineers, judges earn a basic salary as much as Ahmad Bashir.

A Prof is at the pinnacle of his career. An Engineer, Doctor could just be someone who just graduated 3years ago from the University. Judges are receiving huge pay and they approved increment for them about a month ago. Now you be the judge.

I'm not referring to young professionals. Senior doctors, engineers at the the peak of their professional careers don't earn as much as Ahmad Bashir. I'm not justifying the FG stand but kindly understand that all civil servants are underpaid and not just lecturers or professors.

OK. The fight should begin from somewhere. The fact that some are fighting for a better pay should be a wake up call to others instead of trying to insinuate that since no one is talking, everyone should keep shut. We cannot afford to be losing money to some persons not doing much. The reminder is that, from our tax and collective resources is where all these appointed people and politicians get their huge pays and heavy allowances. We should applaud ASUU for standing against the lopsidedness and trying to awaken others to rise up from the slumber! It's only Civil Servants government can choose to owe them several years of allowances. We cannot continue to allow the government do whatever they want.

Only FG rejects ASUU offer.
Who makes the offer?
Employer or employee?

Note that the terms of employment are not even been kept by FG. Some of you don't know what is happening. Lecturers often find themselves being owed several years of allowances. These are part of the agitations.

Not only lecturers, Doctors, electricity workers etc are often being underpaid and owed salaries for months. Things like this won't stop till we get good and credible leaders.
The solution is not to be going on 6 months strikes every year.

Students should brace up and find something else to do.

What is the solution? Stop fighting for your right because others are not? Nigerians and "leaving everything to God"
ASUU's fight should be a wake up call to others to stand and fight for their right since that is the only language the government understands.

Read my post very well again, i already put the best solution there.
Buhari and FG can stop ASUU salaries till next year and even stop having meetings with them and nothing will happen.
