What would make Yorubas print multiple banners to tell Tinubu they've rejected his ticket if Tinubu is really listening to the voices of reasons? Also, few days ago, Tinubu visited Obasanjo but Obasanjo being a very astute man has been looking for a way to tell Tinubu he rejected his presidential ambition 100%. So the only way to pass the bitter message was to use a sarcasm as an elder. He satirized Tinubu saying he has introduced two vocabularies "emilokan" and "olule" in Yoruba vocabulary. No matter the pretence, Tinubu understands them as a big insult. Remember Nigerians mock Tinubu with "emilokan" which signifies selfishness and insensitivity to the problems Nigerians are facing not minding his age, bad records and fast-failing health. To make the sarcasm clearer, Obasanjo added "olule," which literarily means 'to fall or fail." So what Obasanjo means is that "the person wey dey shout emilokan dey fall." "Olule emilokan." This is not far from the popular song the Pirate Fraternity released to mock Tinubu. Are you saying Obasanjo does know Tinubu is eulogised with Asuwaju or Jagaban? To help the understanding of those who still live in denials, he said Yorubas have been embarrassed as we must bear the good and bad sides of "olule emilokan" failing or falling emilokan."
So, can the evil men around Tinubu whose bad antecedents who very well, allow Tinubu to rest his weak bones and shrunken body? Tinubu is dying from old age and drug abuse. It's visible all over him. He is not even answering the millions of questions Nigerians are asking because he is overwhelmed and clearly guilty. He is also dodging press and TV programs because he is frail and weak and pretends Nigerians don't know. He now prefers prerecorded videos to cover his fast fading memory. Do we need an Egyptian mummy at this critical stage of our national life when our problems have been compounded by his evil APC party? Can Tinubu listen to the voice of elders to know you can't say emilokan when you're falling? Northerners burn brooms every day, people protest against Tinubu everywhere and the national rejection is rising. Must be a disgraceful end? Must he be stone before those pushing him around understand Tinubu is not needed right now? We pray it doesn't get to that height.
