Ijaya123: This is why there's Google on your Smart phone. Google and search for Obi's achievements in Nigeria, grab a chair, relax and study through yourself and you'll know what he has done |

Everything you said is right Except for your second sentence. That is nothing but hyperbole. To "significantly" reduce the demand for PMS in a 200m people country where almost everyone uses PMS to run their generators would take nothing less than 100k nos of such buses. And this assumes that 100k nos ICE buses will be phased out to make room for these otherwise there will be no difference. Then you come to the problem of "Recharging" Where do you get the supply to recharge even 20k nos of these buses in a country that generates far less electricity than every major city in the West and Asia? If you say solar them you need a huge investment running into hundreds of billions, for panels, batteries, wiring inverters and mobile charging centers. You tend to favour unrealistic and poorly thought through solutions over well thought out ones that take all major factors into consideration. That's why you keep screaming Buhari should end subsidies and save the money. LOL This govt will increase borrowing over the next 8 months as they haven't stolen anywhere near enough to take care of their tenth generation yet unborn SmartPolician: |

This is great! Stuffs like this impact our everyday lives and have the potential to save us the "monstrous lie" and humongous payments in the name of subsidy. Lagos can take a queue by adding these to the FMLM bus lines. |

GoooodHardDick:Exactly the issue . You did not need google to see and get the electrical car achievements. But you would recommend it for Obi’s achievements since it is quite opaque, I understand. Honestly he would be lucky to come a distant 3rd position. Forget the hype . Many of us are youth and do not buy the sectional hype. |

Why must you undermine everything developmental about this country Don’t you realise that the northeast can herness abundant solar energy then convert it to electrical energy that can power the buses? Please be positive fabianiyobosa: |

SmartPolician: It is fake news. Nigeria at the moment cannot build any automobile with 62 % of local content. Car content - 65% - Steel and 10% -Aluminium. Nigeria does not have a single steel or aluminium plant in operation. Where is the Glass, tyres, battery, brake pads, radio from , even the diesel oil is imported. |

12 Seater prototype bus built from scratch in Maiduguri. 70% of the materials used are sourced locally here. Uses voice command. It can move up to 212km, on a single charge. With the speed of 110km/hr. Is fully air conditioned. And is 100% electric

fabianiyobosa: Based on the info I got, Maiduguri has been cut off from the national grid after Boko Haram blew up their connection hub (lack of a better word to use). So, they use solar to power the city. I'm not surprised this is happening in Maiduguri. |

GoooodHardDick:I hope you know Inec will be using the new technology. So please stay safe 2023 is near, but no one wants to hear the word RIGGING. Most of us do not buy this Obi repackaged thing. How can one say someone who has been in PDP, APC or even APGA became an Angel suddenly??. You can fool some people all the time but you can’t fool everyone every time. |
Re: Phoenix Renewables Celebrates 30 Days Of Operations In Maiduguri by GoooodHardDick: 5:34pm On Aug 20, 2022 |
LegacyB: That repackaged thing is far better than Atiku and Tinubu combined together. Obi may not be a saint but he is the best candidate we have now. |

Zydote: If I may ask. How many kilometers per hour, 110km? What is total kilowatts power? What is voltage of the power? What is Drive current consumption per hour? 212km per a charge? And it serve for commercial? What is charging duration? In a country as Nigeria, how did solar activated power supply all energy needed to charge the entire vehicle? You mount solar panels on the vehicle roof, how many volts and watts is the panel and how many DC current it deliver to the battery for some hours work. If you use gas to power generator at cost of N800 per a liter, how did you cover the money? I believe you charge N50 per passenger, and make enough profit at end of some hours work. 212km per every charge and you make enough money by the end of the day? But I don't see you continue in business after given clear answer to my enquires. Good luck |

GoooodHardDick:The buses might be powered with solar energy as Maiduguri has more sunlight than other states in Nigeria. I'm just saying though, not sure about that. |
