Contrary to the false notion that Tinubu and Lagos State government built Eko Atlantic City, the city is actually owned and financed by a private firm owned by a Lebanese investor called Gilbert Chagoury. The project commenced in 2008, when Fashola was the governor and was commissioned during Ambode's tenure in 2016. Tinubu supporters should stop accrediting other people's achievements to Tinubu. He's also the owner of Eko hotels and suites. 25 Likes 4 Shares

The author of this topic is an uninformed zombidient. If they are not lying, they are denying facts. Below is from the website of the same Eko Atlantic. And we see the genius of Tinubu as a problem solver. Tinubu turned Coastal Erosion challenge into a Coastal City solution. A Governor who never waited for the federal government before taking the leadership on many infrastructural challenges in Lagos State. Peter Obi should apply for admission in the Jagaban School of Public Administration, and promise to graduate with 1st class this time around. A SUSTAINABLE SOLUTION FOR THE ONGOING EROSION https://www.ekoatlantic.com/education/sea-wall/ 19 Likes 2 Shares |

Re: Meet Gilbert Chagoury, The Owner Of Eko Atlantic City by Throwback: 12:20pm On Aug 23, 2022 |
Tinubu approached experts for advice on a Coastal Erosion problem, and such expert advice resulted in Eko Atlantic City as the solution. Obi approached a mad man for advice, it resulted in the sack of Abia and Imo indigenes from the Anambra State Civil Service. While Lagos is now competing with the economy of other African States, Anambra is struggling to compete with the economy of Kogi State. Nigerians have a choice before them. To vote a brilliant administrator or a dull administrator. We all know the consequences of their past job in their respective states. 13 Likes 2 Shares

post=115982722: That’s why Lagos is working. The state government know how to work with the private sector to give them the fertile ground to invest. Obi Pandora got the same chance but instead invested state money in private breweries when his mates are facilitating private developmental projects like Eko Atlantic, Lekki Deep Seaport, and etc. Obi is a mediocre, his only selling point of investment is the private brewery and yet Anambra state investment nosedived with time. Obi na quack investor like his 3rd class degree. Below is Obasanjo Lauding Tinubu in 2006 on Lekki free trade zone. Now that place is holding billion dollar investments. The LFZ will employ thousands of Lagosians, resultant effect will be felt in the supply chain, and you’re gonna have multiplier effect. That’s how Tinubu thinks, he thinks of the future because he is the only transformational leader we have among the contestants. 14 Likes 3 Shares

The chagoury family. Abacha used them to devastating effect. World class money launderers. They sucked Nigeria dry. That family has eaten fat from Nigeria. Illegally gotten fats. I'm not surprised they are best friends with tinubu. Pigs rolls together. They have already divided Nigeria among themselves waiting for Tinubu to enter. |

Throwback: How exactly has this disproved his point please?? A private company came up with a business idea that will impact the environment of Lagos state positively and submitted it to the government for approval, and government keyed into their idea. Please how is this different from what the OP stated and what is obtainable everywhere cos some of you make it seem like there was no Lagos before Tinubu and Lagos of today is exactly the way Tinubu left it. That the Lagos state government keyed into it is very commendable but it's not some Isaac Newton level genius type stuff like some of you push it as, abeg make we rest. |
