Chelsea are ready to pay £60m to sign Anthony Gordon from Premier League rivals Everton this summer, according to The Daily Mail.

Chelsea have added six of his key players to the squad during the current transfer window. They signed Mark Cucurella, Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Carney Chukwumeka, Cesare Casadei and Gabriel Slonina for a total of over £180million.

How did Chelsea target Gordon fare at Everton?

Gordon rose through the ranks in Everton's academy before making his senior debut in 2017. Since then, he has appeared in his 63 games in all competitions for his team at Goodison Park. England's U-21 international have established themselves as regulars for the Toffees last season. He scored four goals and provided two assists in 35 appearances in the Premier League last season.

Gordon has started all three of Everton's league games this season. However, he could be heading to Chelsea soon.
