ASUU to decide Nigerian students’ fate on Monday.

Nigerian students who have been at home for over six months now would know their fate on Monday, August 29, as ASUU would be meeting to deliberate on FG’s proposal.

The union’s national president, Emmanuel Osodeke, expressed worry that their problem with the government “is trust deficit. They will say something and will do another thing,”

In my opinion Strike is not the right option considering the kind of government we have currently. Sometimes I'm left with tears how fast the whole world is leaving us behind. This is 2022 and we are still experiencing kickbacks in our education system. Universities all over the world is the custodian of research and innovation. The government is not fair with our academicians. The lecturers deserves better. It is not good at all.
