T9, No need for civil war for something as simple as voting No. I know Hausa will never go for it. They are not interested in another man land and though accomodate, they despise arrogant guests. Its Yoruba we need to watch for. There are Yorubas willing to prostrate to a cow just so they have some beef on their dinner table. Before sweeping arrogant guests out of the region, we need first to sweep our house clean. Any Yoruba member in the NASS that vote in favvor of the bill need to become a lesson for history. Ibos are scared to see blood, their spirit can't handle it, they run. |

N_N, Like i wrote in one of my posts above, i can't see an infidel becoming governor of a sharia state like zamfara. And i know that if it can't happen in the north, IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN IN ODUALAND! "Aigbo ile wo ni baba re ti wa" will be the first question. An inability to provide the required answer to this question will put paid to any lofty ambition of governorship in that particular state. There will always be those "omo ales" willing to bring in outsiders to wreck havoc on their fathersland. That's nothing new and not peculiar to Odualand. In the past, they have not been able to actualise their ambitions and neither will they be allowed to do so in yorubaland now. Its an open secret how much hatred the igbos harbours for us yorubas. Is it the igbos who constantly call us despicable names that will now be voted for to govern over us? Hell will freezes first before that's allowed to occur in yorubaland. It will mark a return to the old "wild wild west". No shaking, my brother! I just dey Look & Laugh. I sincerely hope they pass the bill into law as we will finally be able to settle once and for all, who the real "cowards" are and also that no part of yorubaland is a "No man's Land" |

Imagin the majority of yorubas from other states being disenfranchised in Lagos because they are not indigenous and the < 10%(indigenous Lagosians) being governors. bashy_demy: why would he be considered a bastard ? which means tinubu and fashola are both bastards for putting an igbo commissioner there, isn't it ! this people do not like yorubas, yet you decided to put an igbo commissioner in lagos, All hail tinubu how dumb!! even I as an indigene of lagos feels disgusted at the event yet you people (other yorubas) would defend tinubu with everything . rubbish |
Re: Constitution: Fg Set To Remove State Of Origin by bashydemy(m): 8:22am On Aug 09, 2011 |
There is nothing bad in Igbo commisioner since its an aldinary appointment not a key post and he can be sack at anytime |

This is a huge step towards true Nationalism, soon people will be able to say, comfortably, "I'm from Nigeria" and not "I'm from Enugu, or Kanu". Because they know that they have equal right as anyother person, anywhere in the country. That's true fedralism. |
Re: Constitution: Fg Set To Remove State Of Origin by T9ksy(m): 10:06am On Aug 09, 2011 |
Guys, can we or once forget about all these yoruba states? Turn your sights to all the sharia states in the north. Can you envisage an "infidel" been made governor of sokoto state? or Zamfara state? They wouldn't even attend a mosque where a yoruba muslim in leading the prayers. And, that's in yorubaland! I dey "Look & Laugh". |
Re: Constitution: Fg Set To Remove State Of Origin by kofoshi: 10:25am On Aug 09, 2011 |
The moral of this thread is that those who have an identity; who have strong cultural roots want to preserve it but those who can only trace their roots to the baboon, who has no trace (we Yorubas call them: "omo ti'oniran" will vote for this. Why? They have no home to be proud of. They are like leeches wanting to suck the blood of a healthy host. Yorubas, we have to rise, this might seem minute to some, but it is a challenge to our culture; our way of life. Let's kick the Igbos out and start doing it now! To that morasucker who called me a male, well, all I can say is that I'm more female than your mother will ever be. You cant fathom me because you are yet to see a woman is is so proud of her culture and he people that she is equally vocal about it. 1 Like |

T9ksy: Yet Gbenga Daniel is an Isoko man? Did anybody die because he failed the "Aigbo ile wo ni baba re ti wa" question? Did anybody even dare ask? Abeg drop all the backwardness jare! Only insecure people reject guests; go check, in so many parts of Nigeria the past, a slave could rise to becaome king. Ever heard of Jaja of Opobo? Ethnic bigotry makes people so primitive that when they are quacking revolting crap, they don't even realise it. Some of Nigeria's past leaders have been foreigners too, did people fall ill because of that? Rubbish. |
Re: Constitution: Fg Set To Remove State Of Origin by T9ksy(m): 11:01am On Aug 09, 2011 |
Beaf: You can call me whatever takes your fancy, that's your prerogative. However i have made my point. Primitive or not, IT JUST AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN!!! kofoshi: @ Bolded. . . . . . . . Words! Sis, welcome back. how u dey? Don't mind these mothaxxxxxxs, ojare. see as they all beaming their searchlights, westwards. As if there's no northern nigeria. Prolly, because they know the boko harams will turn them into shish kebab first before they will allow such abomination in their land. No shaking tho' cause i rest in the knowledge that if it ain't happening in the north, then it certainly ain't happening in yorubaland. And if that makes me an ethnic bigot then i shall proudly wear that garb. Am a true "shoin of the shoil" and makes no apology to noone for the way i feel about my cultural/self identity. |

Beaf: Who made Gbenga Daniel an Isoko man? Stop all this lies abegi. As long as most Nigerian states have traditional Rulers, it will be difficult for NON-INDIGINES to rule in those states. Because most politician has ties to traditional rulers and institutions. Do you think an Igbo men can ever rule Kano, when the Emir and his Islamic loyalist are present. GEJ should rather face the task of building the economy . 1 Like |

To the poster who asked if Fashola and Tinubu are bastards for appointing an Igbo Commissioner in Lagos State: Yes. They are ignorant baboons and bastards of the worst kind. I know Fashola had no hand in it. He was appointed because he had been washing money for "Tinubu" while working at a bank. The truth is, Ojuyobo appointed him to spite indigenous Lagosians, since his Iragbiji origin has been discovered, despite his valiant attempts to hide it. We now know that the name he bears belongs to a WOMAN who attended Chicago State University. That's why you have never heard the full version of the "Bola" in his name. Is it Bolanle, or Olubola, or Adebola, or Boladale, or Abimbola? Which important Yoruba person bears the short form of their name OFFICIALLY Fashola simply went along because he's a boy-boy of the super gangster, Yekini Amoda Ogunlere, alias Bola Ahmed Tinubu. To the Ibos and other ethnic minorities agitating to become governor of Lagos State, I say this: Remember the events leading up to the civil war? It was this same boastful and arrogant behaviour after the January 1966 coup that led to the intense HATE that Northerners in general and Hausa/Fulanis in particular harboured for you people and ultimately led to the genocide later that year that eventually led to the civil war in which 3 million of your people were slaughtered needlessly. Your refusal to learn from your own tragic recent history will be your undoing. Continue underestimating indigenous Lagosians. We will eventually have to teach you people a final lesson in how not to be ingrates and disagreeable guests in another man's land. The first step has already started. A gradual boycott of Igbo businesses by indigenous Lagosians has already begun. It will spread to other Yoruba groups resident in Lagos. We don't need much motivation for this boycott, since all you people sell are fake and sub-standard goods anyway. It will continue to VERY STRINGENT terms for rental of property to Ibo people, and then outright refusal to rent to you, then refusal to SELL land to Ibos. We are developing a strategy that will see Lagosians and other Yoruba property owners only leasing land and houses to you for a maximum of 10 years. All your existing C of Os will be revoked in the public interest. It is in the public interest that Ibos do not empty out their villages to relocate to Lagos in order to realise their vain ambition to rule us. Keep shouting. We shall see. |

djustice: LOL you see what I have been fighting against Tinubu and co Our liberty as indigenes have been taken for granted by the mumu called tinubu well I do not support any extreme measures but I just want my other yoruba brothers to see how yawa go gas in lagos very very soon Goodluck |
Re: Constitution: Fg Set To Remove State Of Origin by djustice: 12:22pm On Aug 09, 2011 |
alj_harem: I heartily agree with you regarding Yekini Amoda Ogunlere (alias Miss Bola Tinubu). However, there is nothing extreme in refusing to financially empower a people who make no secret of their desire to steal your community and heritage by emptying out their hamlets in an attempt to win elections in Lagos. All we are doing is boycotting their businesses. There are Yorubas who import EVERYTHING that the Ibos import, only that because they fear to soil their family names and reputations, they almost always sell the genuine article, unlike the Ibo fake merchants. Yes, it's more expensive to buy Yoruba, but at least you'll get what you're paying for, not some cheap imitation that will scatter before the normal time, or just totally refuse to work. Moreover, they're the ones stealing from our artistes by faking their CDs in Alaba. Thank God for concerts. Them D'banj, Asa and co for don die! |

djustice: djustice: - Bola Ajibola - Mike Adenuga - Bola Ige - Femi Falana - Gani Fawehinmi and many more. Don't know much about Mr Tinubu's background, but let's temper anger and exuberance with facts. Difficult, I know. |
Re: Constitution: Fg Set To Remove State Of Origin by djustice: 12:44pm On Aug 09, 2011 |
edo.girl: Go and check their official documents. Mike Adenuga on official documents is Michael Adeniyi Adenuga. Femi Falana on official documents is Olufemi Falana. Bola Ige is Adebola Ige. Gani Fawehinmi is Ganiyu Fawehinmi. OFFICIALLY, not by popular appellation. Two different things. On the INEC forms Yekini Amoda Ogunlere filled in 1999 and 2003, he wrote Bola Ahmed Tinubu as his names. No Yoruba person does that. He would have written the full form of Bola. I hope this has enlightened you further. Don't comment on what you know nothing about next time. |

Djustice, you have a like mind to mine. I have started the awareness and I want every Yoruba son and daughters to wake up to this reality. We snooze, we lose. Heebows have to be done away with and we have to uphold our strong culture and not let those who can not even trace their history to destroy our land. |
Re: Constitution: Fg Set To Remove State Of Origin by djustice: 3:55pm On Aug 09, 2011 |
Kofoshi, emi gaan o fe'ranu!! I stopped patronising Ibo shops them minute they started their nonsense about wanting more commissioner slots. My friends thought I was paranoid, until they started talking about becoming Governor in Lagos. That's when people started waking up. In my business now, I refuse to honour any invoices that come from Ibo shops. They're easy enough to identify. If it's not from a Yoruba owned business, I don't buy. I'm in the construction industry by the way. That means parts for my trucks and earth moving equipment now come from Oregun Road and environs, if not, I order direct from Germany or China. I'm happier to wait for the original goods, than to be in a hurry and end up buying rubbish from rubbish Ibo "traders". My employees and contractors now know better. I already have some Ibo employees, and will be sacking them at the earliest opportunity. I no know say na like this dem be. Even the ones working for me now are probably thinking secretly of how they will takeover my business. Nairaland has been a major eye opener. I began to pay more attention to the words of my Ibo employees and suppliers, and guess what? They're mirror images of the Ibo internet warriors on Nairaland. Look at the way they're behaving in Alaba, Amuwo, Ojo, and Ajegunle, where they have numbers. Very arrogant and disrespectful. Time for them to go. But we start with economic warfare. They must not eat one more kobo of my money. I hope you agree with me on this and start implementing it right away. |

@masquerade djustice (a hiding coward) and Desola ( a deeply embedded coward ) Why are you folks shouting yourselves hoarse? Folks like myself are having the laugh of my life because it is now abundantly clear that most Yorubas on this forum are against this genuine attempt to unify Nigeria; and ONLY YORUBAS. Now the question becomes: WHY DID YOU FIGHT AGAINST EASTERN SECESSION IN 1967? What really made you fight to keep Igbos in Nigeria? I am now beginning to think it is either due to extreme stupidity or extreme cowardice. You could not see what you really wanted in 1967; WE DID. Today, you are pissing your pants just because an idea that can create a real nation out of Nigeria is being touted. You see why I say that you people are stupid cowards? If MASSOB start tomorrow, you would swear that you idiots would join aboki to kill Igbos again if we want to leave. I pray they pass this law. I wish they pass this law so that we can really see what you would do. If you as much as try any nonsense secession or targeting of our people and other Nigerians in Lagos, we will team with other Nigerians to chase you all into Benin republic. Buncha goats. |
Re: Constitution: Fg Set To Remove State Of Origin by ektbear: 5:07pm On Aug 09, 2011 |
@djustice: I read through some of your posts on this thread and elsewhere. There is a lot of sense in what you say. I'm not as extreme yet in your views, but if I were a Lagos indigene like you appear to be, I might feel the same way. As I've said earlier on this forum, people have the right to defend the integrity of their homelands. By any means necessary. |
