Farm Administrator Needed

Responsible for planning, organising and managing the activities of a farm to meet the objectives of the owner. The farm includes a Poultry, a Cat Fish Farm, Plantain Farm and a Feed Mill

Tasks include:
planning finances and production to maintain farm progress against budget parameters;
buying supplies, such as livestock feed raw materials, fertiliser and seeds;
arranging the maintenance and repair of farm buildings, machinery and equipment;
planning activities for trainee staff, mentoring and monitoring them;
maintaining and monitoring the quality of yield, whether livestock or crops;
understanding the implications of the weather and making contingency plans;
making sure that products are ready for deadlines;
ensuring that farm activities comply with government regulations;
monitoring animal health and welfare;
maintaining a knowledge of pests and diseases and an understanding of how they spread and how to treat them;
applying health and safety standards across the farm estate;
monitoring and documenting all yields and land use to meet funding requirements;
protecting the environment and maintaining biodiversity;
Requirements

Responsibilities
Responsible for implementing, directing and overseeing the auditing and compliance programs. Conducts and directs audits and ongoing reviews of organization controls, operating procedures, and compliance with policies and regulations. Reviews and appraises the soundness, effectiveness, and proper application of accounting and financial controls, compliance procedures and controls and timeliness of documentation generation. Assesses the adequacy and extent of programs designed to safeguard organization assets. Compiles and issues reports detailing conclusions and providing recommendations for improvements. Directs and appraises the activities of audit and compliance personnel. Recommends employee training and modifications to procedures as needed. Serves as liaison for all external audit and regulatory agencies.



Requirements
B.Sc or HND in Accounting and ACA or ACCA
5-7 years work experience as an auditor with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Experience in audit of a facilities management company, real estate firm or human resource outsourcing company will be an added advantage.

Description
The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize landscaping/construction projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.



Responsibilities
Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.

Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management

Position Requirements
University degree in the field of Architecture, Building or Civil Engineering
2-4 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
Certifications in Project Management
Strong familiarity with project management tools, such as Microsoft Project
Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
Flexible during times of change.
Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
