It depends on the amount. This will certainly affect my action.

I guess the amount will definitely affect my actions. if its not much up to N1,000, i will try to get the attention of those around to be in possession hopefully the owner may come looking for it. But if its much and even in Ghana-Must-Go form, then i will get it and try to see if there is any identifiable means of reaching the owner so i will do it myself because its absolutely no assurance that the next person will try contacting the owner. but after all these i cant reach out to the owner, then i will go back and plan on what to do with it, which may include announcing by media and if anyone can give a precise description of it, i will let it off.

Times are hard so i wouldn't want to cause anybody pain just without trying to give them second chance.

if after this no one can claim it, then i can comfortably arrange am wella

I got home and my sister refused to give me food. she was angry because she claimed i gave the money to criminals.she advice me to take it to the church next time.

was? meaning that you are no longer born again? Am sure you regret that action now and you must have made a vow that given that opportunity again, you will pocket it.
I noticed a lot of people confuse advise with advice. Advise is the verb form while advice is the noun form. e.g.

I will see if I can return the money. Police station is definitely a no-go area. If I am unable to trace the owner with a reasonable period of time, I will give the money to charity, I will definitely not use the money. For me, nothing like jazz or juju. It's all exaggerated superstition. I will touch the money.
I am not a poor person, but if I were a very poor person living in absolute penury, I will use part of the money to feed myself at that moment, but will certainly return the remaining either to the owner or to charity, but with a confession that I had to feed myself with part of the cash.

I have once picked up 20 Naira back then in Secondary Sch and returned to the Principal. The following morning I was called upon during assembly and given a prize for my honesty. Morals pay. What you would not want anybody to do to you, dont do it to someone else.

okay, lemme list ma experiences so far (at least the ones i can remember):

i happen to have a habbit of picking things of the floor, people say it's bad but i really don't care, i've picked a friend's passbook from bush ones. recently picked a friend's AAU ID Card (in cyprus) on the floor. my collection of almost 100 pens/pencils, i picked (or found) most of them at various places and different times

but i wont piss or spit or flog or anything sha. will pick it if i can, or show someone if i can't pick it or if i feel "it's not safe". i'd rather not let the next person become 100bucks richer than me when i had same opportunuty.

if a very large sum of money, i'd take it, keep it, and PRAY that no one asks for it for like a week, before i decide to spend it. but if someone announces that they misplaced it, i'd give it back.

i've also lost money on a few occasions though, never found it back, karma, rite?

I will put on a fitted NEPA gloves and drag the money with a long rake straight to my house. I have to play safe you know. No one wants to turn into a baby rhino.

The ammount determines my action if huge i'd keep it to my self then announce or better still give it to any human right activist but give to the polic lol i no go fit do boy
