And the funny aspect of it all is that Christianity and Islam will deceive them by preaching to them that they will enter heaven and paradise without refunding all that money. Is religion not more wicked?

FYI, without restituting whatever has been wrongly or greedily acquired, such a fellow should forget heaven.

Restitution is one of the evidence of repentance. You can built a whole city as Christian worship centre, such doesn’t count if you’ve not made restitution for the wrongs of the past.

I don't have the 'correct' stats. Ethiopia for a long time has been a dictatorship. It's only under the current president that there's been far greater freedoms.

The previous government of late Zenawi was a benigh dictatorship. Anyway, he remained a dictator. The government may want to publish a low figure to the public in order to portray themsrlves as prudent. It's something China does all the time.

Even Chinese produced economic growth stats aren't taken seriously by outsiders. The Communist party's legitimacy stems from them able to bring prosperity through rapid economic growth . All economic growth stats eminating from the China must reflect this.

I agree with you on this. I recommend you read this book titled: THE BEAUTIFUL TREE. China is built on falsehood.

Here are the results.

Ethiopia
$5.2 million per KM ($4.5 billion total) for the 759 Km heavy duty standard guage rail line from Djibouti to Ethiopia. Finished in 4 years. Can carry container of goods and passengers

Lagos
$54 million per KM ($1.5 billion total) for the 27KM light rail line in Lagos. Can only carry passengers. It's over 12 years and still not finished.

Conclusion
Back in China where records must be submitted to the stock exchange, the company that built both lines reported that what they were paid for the Lagos rail is $181 million, but Tinubu's Lagos said they spent $1.5 billion.

Lagos people should ask Tinubu where he kept their $1.2 billion.

You guys are clueless. Ordinary logistical assessment you no fit do.

The terrain that the Lagos rail passes on is different from that of Ethiopia.

If you build skyscraper in Marina you will spend more money erecting it than same exact building built in Abuja. Difference is terrain.

Get sense!

1. There's a difference between Metro Rail and the common railway, they are not the same, and construction and technical requirements are not the same.

2. The 27k Lahore Orange Metro Rail line cost $1.5 Billion

3. The 27k Lagos Metro Rail Line cost $1.5 Billion.

Now, since it cost Lagos state and Lahore the same $1.5 Billion to construct the same 27k metro rail, do you not sound stupid and ignorant to think a massive project like a metro rail only cost $181 million?

Btw, the Lagos metro rail project is part of a 10-lane freeway system with BRT access, so do they also have that in Ethiopia?

You, people, srew rubbish while pretending to be smart, but you end up showing the world how dumb and ignorant you are.

It costs more to build because lagos is a Waterlogged Marsh Area , addis ababa is not

There are many bridges that need to be built in addition to filling the waterlogged areas with Water Resistant Rocks and Concrete that will form a Solid foundation and barrier against flooding from Ocean water and it will cost more than the laying of the Train Tracks itself

Look at this Railway Bridge along the line on the Lagoon towards marina for example,

The Supporting Railway Columns are fixed firmly into the bottom of the concrete reinforced Sea bed and
it is very expensive to build on the Sea

You dey mind them.
They lack knowledge of construction. How will you compare construction in the existing city with a desert's own?

Are you held at gun point in Lagos? I recall that that when Tinubu's boys Fashola and Aregbesola abducted several of you all over Lagos and Osun and dumped you at Upper Iweka Bridge Head Onitsha at 2:00AM, before 2:10AM, you have all jumped into the next available Mallam Audu's trailer moving Cows to Lagos.

As Yorubas pray to go to Heaven, your parents pray to go to Yoruba land
without the Igbos staying in Lagos, the state will be empty with less revenue generating. Check during Xmas time you will see how scanty Lagos roads are. Even the businesses that generate revenue for the state is 60% own by other tribes. How many Yoruba is doing business in Lagos. Everyday urchins keep talking about how other tribes should leave Lagos as if without other tribe that Lagos will be what it is today. Get sense bro.
