Child of God, you need to wake up now because your miracles are right before you if you can re-awaken your prayer-life right now.



Here are causes of prayer weakness to look into:



1) MUCH SLEEP

Sleep can rob you of the power to pray, So training the body to resist excessive sleep is needed.

You must realize that some sleep are not ordinary. Some are sent to weaken you and to ensure that you can not pray effectively..

Once you stand to pray, you begin to feel an incurable urge to sleep and your prayer time would be stolen.



2) MUCH FOOD:

Realize that over- feeding weakens the body and makes you to feel sleepy and as such you would be unable to pray.

Also too much food makes praying cumbersome. You can not overfeed and still pray efficiently.



3) LACK OF FOOD FOR YOUR SOUL

You already know what this means . When you don't tune into or listen to enough preaching of God's word and at the same time fails to read enough scriptures, then be sure that your level of prayers must go down.



4) WORRIES

When your faith is no more strong, when it is beaten down because of serious worries coming from the fact that you no longer see God in the picture, your prayer life will go down.



5) WORLDLY DISTRACTIONS

TV, Radio, Phones and the Internet are the major culprits here. When you watch too much of worldly movies and news.

These could cause distractions that might weigh your prayer life down.



6[b]) ENVIRONMENT[/b]

The kind of place you stay and the kind of people that sorround you also determine how strong your prayer life will be.If your friends are unbelievers e.g. gossips and prostitutes, how do you think you can pray well? You must improve your environment.
