#Breaking: Official Press release by ASUU confirming a Total, Comprehensive and Indefinite strike beginning from today,

Campus Catch Nigeria, had earlier reported that The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) extended the ongoing strike action indefinitely with an official memo to follow.

Confirming the action, the union has, in an official press statement this evening, declared an indefinite industrial action pending when the government fulfils all its demands.

I read it on whatsapp and was even the first person to post it on nairaland before someone created a topic with it.

ASUU main problem here is that FG is changing the rule for the first time by insisting not to pay the witheld salaries during their period of sit at home. Hence ASUU is angry and hungry at the same.
If they pay their witheld salaries and adopt UTAS, they will suspend the strike asap, forget the long essay.

Declaring indefinite strike after 7 months strike has no difference/effect,people should leave ASUU alone let them strike for as long as they want this time.
