The Crowdfunding portal will be launch in the coming days with a target of $150m from Diasporan Nigerians and N100bn from Obi Supporters residing in Nigeria,This Day, reliably gathered . A dependable source according to AriseNews, reported that the initiative is championed by one of Peter Obi’s close allies and the sole reason for the Crowdfunding is to enable the former Anambra governor establish a formidable structure ahead of the upcoming general elections. The targeted funds will be largely gotten from the grassroots. The initiative is driven by Young Nigerians in Tech and Other sectors whose sole determination is to change the leadership at the country’s helm of affairs. Being their very new and first opportunity to vote as many of them come of voting age, they are organizing themselves in small groups and committees to raise funds for the Labour party presidential candidate.

Campaign for the presidential election which holds February,25th 2023, will officially commence on September 28,2022. Unlike the 2019 General Elections that had only Peoples Democratic Party and All Progressive Congress as the major contender, Labour party will be part of the 2023 General Elections and will also be a party to beat.

Obi, is currently on a foreign tour to meet his supporters in Canada, Germany, London, Rome, and the United States, where it is expected he would raise a substantial amount of the funds needed for the election.

Crowdfunding is a financing method that raises money by soliciting small individual investments or contributions from a large number of people. Political crowdfunding is widely considered an acceptable medium for raising funding from grassroots supporters.

The same strategy used to finance ipob/ esn reinvented.

Pandora money and other Anambra looted fund hidden abroad will begin to come back in the name of donations from abroad.

Or is it not the same abroad where donations for politics is being monitored closely.

Nigerian youths following this scammer going about analysing Nigeria problem without proffering solution, I blame.

Ask him to tell us any of these problem he solved as a governor

How many youths were developed by him.

No Wonder he stays in Lagos.

Rubbish

It's not Peter Obi"s fault that Nigerians loves him. When Peter chose to be kind hearted devoid of any corruption Tinubu chose to irritatingly corrupt and desperate. Of it's the will of God that Obi will be President then no man born of woman can stop it

From the unfolding events on the country - I know that God has heard the cry of His children and He is not neutral. God"s willing must be submitted in 2023 for final determination. Peter Obi will be used by God to rescue Nigeria from corrupt and wicked rulers like Tinubu. Doubt God and see fire.

Foreign sponsorship and funding is violation of INEC's electoral law.

Obi should know this, or his lawyers. Tell Obi not to skirt around the law please.
